  1. Yeah, but what case (side note: stupid crown position on our reps )
  2. Hmmm, the more I look, the more I think "gen or a lot of gen stuff"... The only thing that bothers me is the CG and case holes though...So, what is the case Come on Tribal...you kill us!
  3. Excellent review. Very impressive for a first one . I sincerely thank you for the time spent and hope this first one will be followed by many others. Cheers Stephane
  4. Congratulations. It's very convincing. A beauty, really. I wish I was as far with my project...

As the title says. My thoughts go to New York and the USA this morning. Warm regards, Stephane
  6. Hmmm, that is not a very nice way of seing things. Nor a good advice either. Believe me, if something serious happens to one of my kids it's going to take me way more time than 5 working days to answer my mails and PMs. Still it doesn't mean I'm a scammer.
  7. Sorry but PO without a doubt. Incredible watch. If I had to buy another gen but a Rolex, it would be a PO, a 3717 or an Ingy SS.
  8. No matter, it's great to see you enjoy it Ooops, indeed ...
  9. Laz is in the Netherlands for a while so we decided to meet again with the K
  10. Congrats to both of you guys. It's a great watch. May I ask? 7753? Old case?
  11. Great watches again guys Ok, this one has almost no wrist time these days, so I wore it today and will keep it tonight. At least I'm sure I will be able to read the time in the dark if I wake up in the middle of the night... The Ziggyfied 196
  12. I'm sorry for your difficulties but as PP claims can be open within the 45 days, pls wait. Try to sort everything out and be patient. Who knows, a bunch of bad thinks can happen right now in the seller's life and could be sorted in the next 48 hours. The last thing we need is PP disputes in this community. Cheers Stephane
  13. I bought two watches from them (from Brussels) and they arrived perfectly safe. I didn't even had to pay taxes. Go with them, no problems.
  14. I have none ...I guess I wasn't in the state to take any photo at that time
  15. I agree with you. But there are so much other gens out there
  16. @Ziggy, The proposal in my mail is valid whether it's october or spring of course, GTG or no GTG! @All: if Ziggy fancy a week-end in Brussels, I wouldn't mind organising the GTG at my place. This time I would arrange it so that we do not have to pack and run to come back. Coktail + walking dinner + watch corner As a side note: hotels are cheap in Brussels compared to Paris, specialy over week-end nights
  17. Vly, The guys here told me about the correct bracelet for the Z serial. It is a 93250 BUT without engraving on the last link. So I would not change the bracelet at all but focus on the other parts: gen dial, gen crown/tube, gen crystal, gen insert and why not a gen bezel. The list is huge so why not sell your 93150 and get some cash for your new project? If it wasn't because of an opportunity I couldn't miss to get a gen, I would have kept my WM9 and add the crystal and bezel to it in the end. Cheers Stephane
  18. Lovely JoJo! So you got yourself the camera then...congrats
  19. While in NYC I went to Wempe to chek the JLC Squadra. They sell it brand new for 6.7K After a few discussions with my fellow NewYorkers, we realised that these watches were going for MUCH cheaper on the grey market and for sur when pre-owned. So, when talking about prestige: go to JLC. JLC is the ONLY manufacture that never used any part from any other manufacture. They provided parts, and still does I guess, to VC, AP, .... (Side note: it's not mine) On top of that: you will never be called out!
  20. By-Tor, You and Ubi illustrate it so well: quality... You are so right to have a small collection. What is the point having boxes full of watches one never wear Thanks for sharing those beauties and the pics with us. Cheers Stephane
  21. Ok Ok. I'll follow TMG and BT Thanks for the input guys, I couldn't decide today!
  22. T. Most important! You should replace the Gen GROWN by a Gen CROWN
  23. I'm totaly confused about your watch. I'll let experts comment it as I never handled a gen myself. Having said that, I see a lot of signs that aren't very nice in your description. Why would a serial not be readable? Same with endlinks... Let's wait for others but I wouldn't buy such a watch personaly. EDIT: I compared the dial with some gen stock pics: your dial is very nice but the hour markers are a bit far from the edged lines.
