  5. Yes. Until further notice, let's say "attending alone".
  6. Wow, Mister T, you are a serious shopper ! Congrats on these beauties !!! The Rado looks nice indeed.
  7. Beauties guys. Thanks for sharing. I love them but would prefer a 40MM
  8. Not yet, but there will be an after dinner for sure @VLY: did I say EddHead should most probably attend alone ?
  9. Oh, I didn't know that. Weird that they do not sell in the US. The 8C is incredible. I drove a friend's 164, they were great too. Unfortunately I have the Turbo Diesel (JTD - 2.4). I hope the next one will be the V6 You're a lucky man you know. A 40 year old Alfa is something very special. Nothing will ever get close to the music of their engines anymore
  10. Yeah, seems very easy but still well done guys. Would I try that ? oh no
  11. Great news Jojo. This put us at 15 I believe. At least with wifes and GF around we will behave properly
  12. I have changed a lot these last months. I see two different ways of looking at the question: short term and long term. Short term: I have almost put toghether my dream collection of Rolex (1655 and snowflake are still to be added). On top of that I have some watches I love (Ingy, 3717, PO, 196) that I couldn't let go. It's very nice to be able to swap watches so often. But it is also a very selfish attitude to have spent up to 1.200 euros in some watches (see why here under). Long term: I have a ten years old son. He looks at all my watches saying they will be his one day. He is correct of course. My father made a great living but didn't even leave me something. SO! What the hell will I leave to my son? 30 replicas or 5 genuine? Conclusion: only our community here can understand what our hobby is all about. Of course it is a great hobby and I wouldn't stop collecting franken neither sell my Rolex. What is the point? I will never put 40.000 euro to get myself a genuine double red But right now, I'm in the process of selling all the watches that I really never wear to fund more and more gens. I decided to get myself the early 2000 Rolex as I believe they will have a great value in 20 years. This way, if my son is in deep shit after I passed away he will be able to sell one watch at 10.000 instead of 200 Cheers Stephane
  13. Hello everybody, My name is Stephane. I'm a watch-holic, hips... I guess I'll feel better after that Agreed
  14. Difficult question. Rolex 1655 Jaeger Le Coultre Master Control Ultra thin Pink Gold ( http://www.jaeger-lecoultre.com/eu/en/watc...ster-ultra-thin )

  16. Yes, they drove very nicely. Wow, a 1750 is really cool. I'm "obliged" to have only one too. After 5 33 (from 86 to 2002) I have a 166 now. I'm curious to see what they will come with in a couple of years. Anyway, congrats!
  17. Oh no, in bed all day long is really not funny at all. Get well asap Ubi.
  18. You are so right! If only I had a garage and some $$$ back in the early 80ies I could have keep my Giulia Super 1600 from 1973
