  1. Doh didnt notice this post! Amazingly not a Rollie! Shocking!
  2. Much appriciated! I'll send you over a PM.. Thanks again.
  3. That would be a blinding offer! Just tell me how much you want or maybe we could trade for something.. I've got loads of Rolex parts..
  4. Its one of the older slower rate movements.. and its got seconds at 9 so not a faffed about with one Fingers crossed the parts are interchangable or i'm going to be putting a perfectly good movemetnt in the bin! looks like P/N 30.014 in oilchart #2 on that oferi link!
  5. The Zigmeister doesnt seem to be around so I'll open this up to the floor Does anyone know what the ETA part number is for the 12 hour wheel and if it is compatible with the asia copy? Cheers!
  6. Depends what camera you are using! My Fuji will take the three exposures in around a second so its possible to take shots of people.. If you look at the watches in the photos they were all running and the second hand has only moved a tiny bit.
  7. I think you'll find the wholesale price for loose pack ETA's would be more around the $10 mark
  8. A hell of alot of people cant see the difference between a 15$ chinese market rep and the real thing..
  9. No power reserve function on any Rolex' ?
  10. Let me guess you used a cobalt bit in a hand drill or at high speed? ooops! Cobalt is frickin hard but its brittle! the only option is to attempt to shatter the remains, (diamond wont touch it) or attempt to use another cobalt bit in a drill press and use pleanty of oil.
  11. I think Bytor has hit the nail on the head there! lol!
  12. You are never getting that out with regular tools! You are going to need to either super-cool it then warm it up, or heat up the lug to try and release the hardened steel bit.. Trouble is you'll probably discolour the case.. What kind of drill bit did you use? HSS, Cabide, Cobalt? etc.
  13. If your going to wear an S/S rep, just get a NATO or Rubber strap... Sorted!
  14. Are you able to crawl over to the UK meet tomorrow?
  15. If we are nit-picking here; The SEL's are sitting proud of the case, this is one of the biggest give aways IMHO and just about every "new style" replica Rolex case seems to be like this at the moment? Can someone not point this out to the factories? lol!
  16. You have to think of this on a cost level, its going to be very expensive to produce a movement that replicates the functionality of a proper GMT watch and it doesnt make things easier that a) most people dont know how a proper GMT watch works, most people dont care and c) it still looks like the real thing whether it works properly or not.
  17. Have to agree with the general consensus, any good replica of an entry level model with out complications will fool even shrewd replica spotters.
  18. TW Sub on Nato strap.. Had a rough day offroading yesterday and wanted to wear something comfortable while all of my joints find their correct sockets.
  19. The "Oversize" collection on that toywatches site look like they have perfect cases to build a vintage sub! lol..
  20. Why try and keep the forum a secret? The only reason the Replica market is improving in product quality is because of the high demand for highend replicas, if it wasn't for the majority of members on sites like this who seek out high end, high quality replicas most people would still be happy paying $800 for a badly built replica with a cheapo automatic movement. The factories in China are there to make a money, they either cater for a few at a high price or cater for a mass market at a low price, volume is what its all about in CN, the replicas will get better as the runs get longer and more punters line up to buy them. Simple as really.
