The QA/QC isn’t that good with all of the so called “factories” popping up. I received a SMP Diver 300, 2018 version, and I’m experiencing 2 problems already after 2 weeks of having it. 1. The slots in some of the bracelet screws are too shallow for the screw driver to properly seat. I have to order a set of extractors to get them out. 2. Really important. After pulling the crown out to sync the time, the quick set date wheel turns when pushing the crown in to lock it down in the case. I mentioned both issues to the TD and haven’t received a response yet after 2 days which is unusual for this TD; he usually responds quickly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed reading these posts I have a gold Eddie Lee day date I bought years ago and a SS Datejust from Andrew. Both are beautiful pieces and I wear them during special occasions. Most of the time they’re under a shirt sleeve. I just enjoy knowing that I’m wearing them and they’re for me and no one else. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I decided not to shell out $3200 for a gen pre-2018 model with the date at 3:00. In your experience, which Factory produces the best Omega Professional Seamaster 300 replica (OM, VS, etc.). I’m looking at the model with the black dial and black ceramic bezel. Moderator: If my question is against forum regulations I apologize in advance.

How was the movement fit up in the case? Fitup issues would be the kind of thing that would worry me with a non-gen case. I’m glad it all worked out. It really looks nice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I found that giving it about 20 winds twice a day will maintain the accuracy to about 3-5 seconds a day while wearing.

I purchased a Steinhart Ocean 1 Green last month and it uses a 2824-2 movement. After setting and synchronizing the time to the second, I checked it 24 hours later and it was spot on. 24 hours after it was 5 seconds fast. 24 hours after that it was 10 seconds fast and each 24 hour cycle after it increased by 5 seconds. Does this mean that the movement is accurate to +5 seconds a day? My thought when I would hear this statement concerning movement accuracy was that time would consistently be 5 seconds fast and increments of 5 seconds as each day goes by. Can someone explain how movement accuracy is to be understood? Thanks. -Mark Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

With the quality work we’re seeing out high-end rep pieces these days, I would be hesitant of buying on the grey market; unless the dealer is highly recommended. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looks like a 2824 or 2836 movement. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Dial is beautiful. Is this a pic of a genuine Rolex Sub? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Appears I didn’t look close enough. The “11” in the date window isn’t right. The 1’s are spread too far apart. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks. So it should be good for gen parts with the exception of the click spring, balance, and a few other parts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
