  1. as a million people will tell you... check the trusted seller list in the forums.
  2. there is a way to demagnetize it using a magnet. if you pull it away from the magnet slowly it will demagnetize. If you do it quickly you magnetize it.
  3. what did you use to antique these? it makes me want to do my own, i have never found a look like that i liked

  7. i know there are some different Dremel brand models that vary in price. I received a Ryobi version kit as a gift but i havent used it yet. I dont know if you have that brand in the UK because it is usually at home depots. Basically most models will perform the way you want it too. The more expensive ones have more features that arent necessarily useful. If you can find a cheap $15 one i would get that and use it until it breaks. do research on what tips you will be using. If you are doing really fine or detailed work remember to almost caress what ever you are working on. If that makes any sense.
  8. Well you have the right idea! Welcome to the forum
  9. I love NYC. one thing you can do is buy an all day bus pass. people are selling them. you can go to all the different areas of NYC and get off and back on at your leisure. Its pretty nice. I forget how much they were. but its something nice and an easy way to travel around the city.
  10. yeah i pulled it off like you said and it came all the way off with a spring. i can see a little screw in there. i was going to send it to you MD2020 to lume anyway lol
  11. not sure if that explains anything. but when i pull it out , it spins freely and wont set time or date.
  12. I will add a picture when i get home tonight. the stem is not coming out completely. It seems to be spinning freely. It also feels that a spring is pushing it out. There is no two stopping positions. It is out all the way when i release the clasp. Someone in another post i found suggested if it was a manual wind that a screw came loose, but i dont know if that is the same for an automatic. thanks everyone
  13. yes i think that is what happened. is it still easy to fix if its an automatic?
  14. I guess its called the crown. Maybe the crown popped out. it wont set the time or date now. it seems like it is springing out. if that makes any sense sorry for duplicate post of this problem.
  15. I have an automatic Pam 359 and while trying to set the time it came loose and won't set. I see an octagon shaped piece coming out. Is this easy to fix or fixable? Thanks for the help
