  1. Finally got around to snapping a couple pics of this EGI. Special champagne coloured PVD coated case.
  2. My newest in the EGI collection. - Blasted DSN EGI case - Gold PVD coated - Athaya TT Curved Angelus Hands - Blasted Brass Ross 3646 Gruppe Dial - Cortbert Gold 6497 Swiss movement - Blueradish Nato with blasted bronze hardware - Elias Vintage Buckle.
  3. Had a hankerin' to eliminate the CG on DSN's 52mm EGI. I went ahead and reshaped the CG side of the case to mirror the other side. First problem was the fact that after shaping I still had screw holes left from the CG screws. After a brainstorming session with NZ, he suggested filling the holes to compliment the bezel markers. I think next time I would use slightly larger rivets. However, the idea was brilliant as filling the holes would have been a nightmare to match the SS colour. Thanks NZ! Result is a DSN Egi that wears smaller on the wrist (obviously) Once all my EGI's are done I'll do complete detailed threads on each. For now enjoy.
  4. Not familiar with that particular seller but likely on par with Getat or Jackson cases. If you want the best quality for a sterile build go with DSN. twice the price but we'll worth it.
  5. This is absolutely stunning! Beautiful job aging this badboy.
  6. I agree with all the comments above. I use it on all my builds. As mentioned it does require a bit of elbow grease but the plexi's come out nice and clean when you're done.
  7. That strap definitely finishes it off perfectly. Well done!
  8. This one has been a long time in the works. I built a 2533 Fiddy ROF a few years ago and always had plans to make a nice Egi ROF. FINALLY it's done. I'm a big fan of bracelets, so I picked up the new style PAM bracelet which I think really adds to the look. She's a beast!
  9. Fantastic review, nicely detailed and informative. Particularily nice to know putting back plates is a b*tch.
  10. Decided I really wanted a muted industrial minimalistic looking EGI, so ended up with this. - DSN 52mm EGI Case - Custom SS Dial w/ Secs @ 6 (Aluminum Oxide blasted) - Heroic Buckle - Blueradish Strap - Swiss ETA 6498
  11. Managed to squeeze a in a few builds this weekend, again will do detailed threads once this batch of projects are done. Silix 3646 Midcase | NW Deco Bezel/CB | Oil Rub PVD coating giving it a Burgundy/Slate Grey finish | ETA Swiss 6497 | Unknown dial. DSN 3646 | DSN Rolex dial | DSN tall plexi | Athaya tall tube hands | Oil Rubbed PVD coating | ETA Swiss 6497 Athaya 6154 blasted and gold PVD coated. Then given a special aging treatment | V's deadly Rolex dial | Cortebert Gold ETA Swiss 6497
  12. LOL, yes, complete brain lapse. I'll request to move.
  13. Played around with another Sub last weekend. Blasted this one, sterilized the bezel, darkened the indices. Enjoy.
  14. It was a limited run from a custom case maker by the name of eSdee on another board. Case was over $800 alone. This was originally a PAM prototype that never went into production.
  15. Lol! Chicks dig it alright. Wife snapped it up right away. What is it with chicks and white ceramic watches.
