  1. I bought the Noob, and the H-factory, and i am going to combine the best parts of the both of them into one Dial, hands, datewheel and CG from Noob Caseset from H-Factory (Caseback from H-factory is more like gen) Don't know if i am going to replace the movement with a Swiss one
  2. I agree with all above, Andrew is a truly great dealer, i have bought 2 reps from him, and both where in 8 days in Holland, and his service is excellent.
  3. What would be a good asking price for a crappy 212i DLC Avitt case (there is a deep dent near the CG) with a good crystal?
  4. I can't remember anymore if the movement was Swiss or Asian. But now a month later reading this i am thinking why would i wanted to spend this kind of money on some cosmetic upgrades? I rather now spend it on some good quality tools, and collecting parts to play around with, and eventually build a very nice grail watch which i can enjoy for a very long time, or service my Speedmaster Gen myself. Fixing or modding a watch you're self is more fun than just buying a modded watch.
  5. thx, at the moment i also keep the handbrake on, i am saving some money now for my holiday this summer to Indonesia. And i am hunting for parts for my first project, maybe i have to resolve to buying a Noob PAM, and strip it. I also like the PAM082, you can feel the difference between a Swiss and a Asian movement, and the dial is a stunner, depending on the angle it changes color.
  6. A month ago I bought a Rolex DSSD Ultimate via a TD, and i really like it, but recently something caught my eye. The text on the lock ring isn't aligned properly, the text 'original' is right against the side of the ring lock, while there normally be a small space between the text and the ring. And the text 'ring lock system' is also not perfectly placed on the ring.See photos I should have seen this when i received the QC pics, but in all the excitement and lack of rep knowledge (this was my second rep i bought) i didn't had a very good look at them, and i missed it. Because its a month ago I don't think i can do anything about it anymore, but this was a costly lesson, i would guess. But despite this flaw it is still one of my favourite reps, maybe someday its going to be replaced by a BK/PBDAD version, but for now i am happy with it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  7. Welcome, and is there an active rep community in Indonesia? I will be there in July.
  8. Welcome to this forum, Pierre. Not so nice to hear that you ran into trouble with the Dutch customs office on you're first purchase, i haven't had any problems with my orders (6 reps in total). 4 Of them came directly by registered air mail, and one came from France, and one was send by Toro via Spain.
  9. I would go for Toro, i recently bought a PAM366 from him without any problems, but any of the dealers in the Trusted Dealer are ok to order from. Check the PAM187 out, if you want a big watch.
  10. This a photo of my collection of reps (and 2 gens) so far after just 6 weeks of buying reps. (pic taken with my iPad) (From left to right) PAM243 Submersible (H-factory) on a Kain Heritage strap (bought from Andrew) This was my first rep i bought online, and this was my favourite untill the DSSD arrived. What i really like is the weight of this watch, you can feel that there is something on you're wrist. What i don't like that you sometimes can hear (and feel) the rotor spinning, but that's a know feature of the A7750 movement. PAM212i Avitt DLC (bought via M2M sales) I like this one but it doesn't had much wrist time yet. Its running very smooth, but there are some couple of issues i have to address. First the CG isn't perfect, and needs to be replaced, and on the backplate are some deep scratches, so that's also needs to be fixed. PAM082 on a D-Straps strap (bought via M2M sales) This is a very nice PAM082 i bought via M2M sales, the previous owner sourced the dial and hands from DSN, and replaced the movement with a Swiss one. What i really like is the color changing dial, depending on the angle the color changes from dark to light. PAM366 (FU edition - Noob factory - newest version I received this watch yesterday, so I can't tell much about yet. I wanted this watch because of the chinese FU sign located at the 6 position. Rolex DSSD Ultimate (bought from Andrew) At first i didn't like Rolex watches, but this one looked nice to me, and the size was ok (i like 40mm+ watches), so i ordered one. From the moment i had it in my hands i loved it. The way it looks, and feels, its perfect, despite some inperfections. That's why this one is going to be replaced by a modded BK version with some gen parts. My favourite rep just needs to be perfect. IWC Big Pilot (bought at MBK, Bangkok) This one i bought from a seller at MBK for around €75 a year ago, i don't know where it came from, and which movement is in it, but it is running perfectly and only losing a couple of seconds per day. Since i have the higher end reps this one gets not any wrist time anymore. EDOX WRC Extreme Pilot II Limited edition (GEN) This a genuine watch i bought last year, which wasn't as good as i thought. Soon after i bought it sometimes just stopped, and had to bring it twice back to the AD for repairs. The last time they resolved it by replacing the movement. Hopefully it won't stop running so i finally can enjoy it as it should. Omega Speedmaster (GEN, not in this watchbox) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  11. Check the M2M sales for parts, recently i bought a titanium H-factory CG, crown and movement for a destro project i want to start. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  12. The bronzo, but i don't mind if you sell it to me, LOL.
  13. This is a very beautiful watch, a 111 is next on my to buy list. Could you send me an PM if you want to sell it, i really like this one.
  14. Looking good. Can you give more info about this rep? And from which TD you bought this?
  15. Hi, where did you find the gen parts? I am thinking to do this mod also on my PAM 243
  16. +1 You're right, that's why i am not sure to do this kind of full modification, and what the benefit is of doing it. Maybe the best option is just to let him service the movement, and do some finishing work on the case and crown.
  17. I want to buy a new fully modded PAM 111 N Noob V3 directly from a well know watchmaker with the following modifications: Incabloc Y shape fix , Longer swan neck screw replaced , Swan neck end side shaped , Swan spring shaped , 1st to 3rd wheel brushed , Crown wheel & rachet wheel polish works (Asian parts) , Cannon pin flatten & polished , Movement serviced & regulated (+1/day now) , Water resistance mod works & testing to 5ATM . Are these modifications worth the total investment of $800 (incl.watch)? The Noob V3 is already a very good rep, which i want to buy for my collection, and i want to know if the mods are really adding value to the watch. I know they are improving the quality of the watch, but is it necessary?
