  6. I found through experience and looking at many different inserts, that for the most part, Naturally faded inserts still retain their original luster and the fading is uniform and even. Artificially faded inserts are for the most part, dull, lacking in luster and have splotchy or uneven fading (fading in the inner most or outermost) I'm sure there are people out there who are really really good at fading inserts that can even trick the experts.   8. wow Thanks everyone. CC33 anywhere on the web where there is a definitive answer on this topic? I seem to be getting different answers from different people also I see these inserts posted for sale on the rolexforum and VRF with all sorts of Mark 1,2,3 and they don't consistently look the same. Plus people call mid-fonts .. fat fonts etc.

  18. this happened to me too. I would get 90% but the 10% gave me trouble. I took it to my watchmaker and he pressed it with some contraption and charged me $10. Done.

  20. I recently purchased a TC Clasp from a member but it did not come with a spring bar for the divers extension. I've tried other spring bars I have but the holes on the TC V3 Clasp is too big and they just fall through the hole in the clasp. Anyone know where I might be able to buy a spring bar for my divers extension? Thanks Looks like this:
  21. The sweeping second hand is rep. Gens taper to a tip at the end. The minute and hour hands look like hands for a 1680/5513 cal 1570
