  1. ooooh.... for the right price... Congratz. Can't wait for the pics
  2. Also... is that a rare fuchsia Insert I see ? Those command a pretty penny...
  3. Amazing CC. Can't wait to see it all together. I see more and more gens posted on this site everyday. I think it only goes to show the natural progression of people's collections. Most fiddle around with cheap reps at first... then graduate to Frankens.. then graduate to Gens.
  4. That Sub C looks so funny. Big case.. tiny skinny little bracelet. Maybe it's the angle
  5. Sorry you are on the wrong Forum Vintage Rolex Forum is this way ---> Stunning Mark IV Red
  6. Wow Very nice work Looking great, can't wait to see it all together
  7. Be very careful that when you re-lume, it doesn't look like boobs... Real Tritium plots on 1680 dials are flat matte.
  8. 702. Most Red's I've seen have 702's on them. Same DNA as the 700 + an Extra Gasket. 700's I see on early/mid 60's 5513 and Tudor Subs
  9. It looks the part and I love a good ol sub on nice leather shoes Instead of getting the correct engravings (As this would add no value to your watch), I would get a Athaya 702 Crown and Tubes. The crown you currently have are for modern sapphire subs.
  10. Do you have a front head on shot? That dial is scary good. I don't know much about the Mark designations for the 1665 but the initial "look" of it would have fooled me as a Gen Dial.
  11. OOps I thought you took it in for a service Ok I fixed my original post "sooooo...... you forgot to tell everyone that you walked in with a gun and 30 minutes later, walked out with a watch"
  12. Soooo ... what you're saying is that the AD now accepts good replicas?
  13. Never Understood why people pay Rolex Prices for a Tudor If I had a spare 4k and needed a beater, I'd buy one of the most undervalued Rolex (16800 with a Matte Dial)
  14. Awesome, thanks for the comparison. As expected the movement is the dead giveaway.
  15. Yes. I apologize again for not taking into account your sensitive disposition. I thought a "Thank You" was in order but got a [censored] YOU Instead of sending me a PM about your sensitivity, you decided to post it publicly and then ask the mods to close the thread.
  16. Damn... now I'm starting to question all my inserts...
  17. I'll let the experts chime in... Great looking watch Btw..
  18. I like the bleaching job. Was the insert black originally?? How did you keep the factory shine on the insert after bleaching?
  19. I apologize for saving you from getting burned. next time I'll keep my mouth shut
