  1. Looks amazing D Keep in mind (not that anyone would notice outside of close up shots) that the 16800 has a shallower rehaut vs a 16610
  2. I don't see why not. Just that when you flip it over, it'll say 7205
  3. It's incredible how much an extra 1mm makes on the price
  4. Yes the fonts are all wrong
  5. nope probably should of asked prior to bidding
  6. Love Love the 16800. It is the most undervalued Rolex, a perfect blend of vintage and modern (if you get the matte dial version) My first Submariner was a 16800, 7.8 mil serial. with a matte dial and I paid 4k for it... insane. I ended up with a 1680 because I wanted a Plexi sub, but I miss my 16800 dearly.
  7. My mama told me if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all
  8. Good to see you've gone back to vintage.
  9. time to start looking for a matte 16800 dial
  10. http://www.ebay.com/itm/TD-7922-7924-gilt-dial-gold-imprint-Fit-caliber-390-for-Tudor-Submariner-/171784885080?&_trksid=p2056016.l4276
  11. The hands are rep as well. Case is rep Dial is a gen MKIV dial found in 5mil range...probably with Tiffany added 3 million serial would put it in red range anyways But it hasn't sold yet ... so.. What's the big deal... Ebay is riddled with fakes and frankens... Caveat Emptor,,, Fool and his money are soon parted....
  12. That gen bezel assembly and insert completes the 5513 DNA (What I call the Scallop Effect). It's a hard thing to get right on a rep
  13. Thank you How's your Red coming along?
  14. Looks the part without breaking the bank !!
  15. NANUQ .. I just bought this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Close-Press-Watch-Bezel-Insert-Rubber-Nipper-Tool-For-Rolex-Tudor-/261810891020?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cf525290c I'll let you know if it works or not when I get it.
  16. Great Pictures all Around!! Top Hat Today
  17. I don't know about Yuki, but gen insert on gen bezel = you need a press. I Tried for about an hour before my thumbs went numb, then took it to a watchmaker near my work. Oh and my sad story about presses.... lesson learned: http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=409250 Oh and Dbane called me an idiot for ruining my insert....
  18. HH do you have a macro shot of the 4 ? Looking at the 4 in 40 is the key to figuring out these FF inserts There are skinny MK3 inserts which were from a fresh printing pad like this As the pads wore down, the printing gets fatter, like this: Then you get the really fatty MK3 at the tail end of the printing pad's life. like this kissing 4: Then you have the 4 from a Mk2 Long 5 which is skinnier than the mk3: Then last but not least, the rare skinny 4 from early 60's ... some call this mk1
