  5. Here's a gen service dial going for $3200 http://www.network54.com/Forum/207673/message/1450115672/REDUCED!+REF-6480+%2Bold+1625+%2B6542+chapter+RING%2B(cal.1556+%26amp%3B+1530)%2Brare+explorer+5701
  6. The amount of dedication people have on this forum is incredible Good job taking it to the next level. Looks great !!
  7. There is no ROI on this. You will lose money as most Rolex purists already consider it a Franken. Consider what constitutes value of a genuine Rolex watch. It's definitely not the materials used. The value is tied to the history of the company, life style, marketing, product placement and reliability on its ability to hold value in line or above inflation. This watch will never be serviceable by Rolex or have any tie to any Rolex pedigree. Which just makes it a parts watch or at best a mutant hybrid only appealing to a small group of WIS Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. It's "Modified" not fake. They take a Gen 114060 and remove the crown guards, install a custom Gilt dial, Install custom hands, 8mm crown, Flatten the scallop bezel, Drill lug holes Install custom made dome sapphire Modify the Ceramic Insert with a custom red triangle
  10. no need to rep, gens are cheap enough. around $200-300 http://www.network54.com/Forum/207673/message/1441044653/FS-+5513+DIAL+with+white+gold+index+(+Dial+only+)+325€+O.B.O
  11. Congratz on the TC SUBS and the 5513 looks great. No I wouldn't pay $500. My watchmaker has 2 New Old Stock Gen LV Inserts. Apparently you can't get them anymore without trading your old one in. I think he wanted $350 each. I'll pick em up tomorrow if you're interested. Let me know
  12. You can http://www.jewelryandwatch.com/ a good fake doesn't make it any less fake
  13. Never said anything about the bezels, you bought, however long ago. I said the bezels he has for sale NOW are fake. And that Kissing 4 insert you bought from Glenn, I almost had it, but I thought he was wanting USD not AUD.
  14. Yes. Here is an Aftermarket ST bezel on my 2.2 mil 5513 with a genuine crystal retention ring and genuine FF MK3 insert. It's scary how good ST bezels are, with a good polish. The one on from Roberto is pretty poor. I would email jedly1@googlemail.com to see if he has any cases left. He has some genuine 5513 and 1680 cases for sale a while back.
  15. There were many iterations of the bezel assembly from the 60's to 70's to service. At best, it looks like an over polished service bezel, but it's not. I would start by going here http://www.network54.com/Forum/207673 and do a search for "Jacek 5513" or "Jacek 1680" and study the bezel profiles. Look closely at the teeth and spacing If you're still not convinced, I can post some comparison pictures later tonight.
  16. the 2 bezels he currently has up for sale are not genuine http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rolex-Submariner-5513-bezel-vintage-original-/271961696964?hash=item3f522e2ac4 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rolex-Submariner-5512-bezel-vintage-original-/271961681350?hash=item3f522dedc6 Rubber gaskets were installed on all Rolex Oyster Cases starting around 5 mil serial. Here is my 5.1 serial 1680 with a rubber gasket.
  17. It's fake. He sells fake cases, bezel assemblies and case backs on ebay from time to time. His engraving have gotten better every year, but still fake. People still bid on them because the quality is similar to phong. Here's a discussion about his cases http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=295506
  18. I don't have a Clark T19 Service dome, I don't see it for sale anywhere. I don't have a Puretime case so I dont know what sort of bezel assembly it has, or the measurement to the retention ring. I have the Clark vintage T19 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Crystal-Ref-25-19-Vintage-style-T-19-Tropic-19-crystal-for-Rolex-CLARK-/231467087330?hash=item35e48375e2 I have the Clark domed T19 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Crystal-Ref-25-19-Domed-style-T-19-Tropic-19-crystal-for-Rolex-CLARK-/231602050632?hash=item35ec8ed648 The aftermarket Service T19 I listed above is pretty clear, but not as good as the Rolex Service T19. If you shine the aftermarket Service T19 crystal in bright sunlight, you can see very small inclusions that are not in the Rolex Service T19
  19. Wow I would love to see some pictures of this 5512 if you still have it.
  20. You need to get a digital caliper and measure the inside of your crystal retention ring My 1680 retention Ring measures 30.21. I see on Ofrei the XS305-451 measures 30.48. This means I would not be able to get my retention ring around the XS305-451 crystal. I ran into this exact problem when I was trying to install a Tropic 19 that Gary Clark Sent me. It measured 30.39 and I couldnt get my retention ring around it. As you can see my Service 127 measures 30.25 and Service 19 measures 30.22. Which allows you to fit the retention ring around it snugly. Snug Fit
