  1. I bought the BR01-94 in SS with constant seconds at 3 from Andrew and was very impressed with the watch. The AR is excellent, the thickness of the watch is dead-on and the overall quality of the watch was 1st rate, I bought he non-chrono version some time back and like you was disappointed especially when I went to change the strap to a croc and found that the hex screws and pins were so cheap that they broke if you removed them. On the 94 the strap changed took about 2 minutes, no drama and no problems. I have been wearing the watch for 2 weeks straight with no problems or quality issues. Even the lume is reasonable. I would go for it. Timeshare
  2. What about the BR01-94 Chronograph with the modified movement to look like the OEM ETA movement? TimeShare
  3. I hate it when past champions of any sport come back and water down their legacy. Recent examples include Lance Armstrong, Bret Faurve, etc. The best example is Michael Jordon - retires after getting a 3 pointer in overtime to win a championship (not a "world" championship as they call it as the rest of the world was not invited)and then comes back to play for a so/so team and looks bad. Keep the legacy and walk away (maintain the revenue from the on-going souveniors sales!!). TimeShare
  4. Is there a Planet Ocean rubber strap for the XL 45mm model that does not collect dust? I have bought 2 from different sellers and they both attract every dust particle within a 2 mile radius.....most frustrating!! TimeShare
  5. Never been a real top end copy of this watch. Partially because of the 1/1000th of a second display and the orange on black display. I have seen the orange on black digital display but not the 1/1000th of a second display. Like the Monaco, I think this watch will remain elusive and un-replicated (well). TimeShare
  6. I bought 3 Big Pilot style straps from them. They are bit stiff but are great straps for the cash. Some of my photos are on their galley section using a Steinhart pilot watch and I believe that the AP pictures you seek are on their site under gallery or customer section. TimeShare
  7. Nice, does the rubber strap collect dust? TimeShare
  8. No one has the blue 6.75 and can post a photo? I have on order and plan to place on a brown OEM deployant strap. The blue and brown combo should look good. TimeShare
  9. Agreed the Breitling Chronomat Evolution is a better looking watch and a very high quality rep. If you are set on the new one as one poster stated you are looking at 8 months plus for a rep (if they do one). TimeShare
  10. Does anyone have a wrist shot of the Breitling for Bentley 6.75 with the blue dial. Also I am interested in the other members impressions of whether the blue dial color on this watch is accurate. TimeShare
  11. To quote Yoda - "No try, only do" TimeShare
  12. Try Bob Strap and StrapLuxe. Just enter in Google - both make a good quality product and a reasonable price. If you want a special type you can contact HK Tan. TimeShare
  13. Hello As per Toad's post, I am not entirely sure what you are saying/looking for but I will try to help. If your question is if there is a rep of the fighter bracelet and the associated UTC module, I have not seen them together in SS. I know there is a fighter bracelet in titanium with a titanium UTC but this will not help as your B-1 is stainless steel. Your best bet is to keep your eyes open for a regular rep fighter bracelet in ss and keep a close eye on e-bay for a real B-1 UTC module. On e-bay remember to check the German and UK sites as a search through e-bay US will not always yield results from these countries. Check e-bay often (say at least once a day) as UTC modules are in short supply, since Breitling went digital and phased out analog UTC's. Many auctions for UTC modules will be "buy it now" and it is easy to miss out!! The posting link Toad provided shows the challenges we rep owners have in duplicating the UTC module on the proper bracelet. My LONG LONG search on obtaining the Evolution UTC (made more difficult by the special link needed to attach the UTC module to the watch case) shows that you may need to buy any bracelet (top end or lower end bracelet) that you see so that you can create a Franken Bracelet/UTC that works. The straight end link to attach the UTC to the Fighter Bracelet is very important and would most likely be a 20mm width as the B-1 accepts a bracelet/strap that is 22mm If you like the look it would be easier to go with a leather strap and UTC and not try to use the Fighter Bracelet. However, like me you may prefer the bracelet over the strap. Sincerely I wish you good luck on your search and I will keep my eyes open for you and will contact you by PM if I see any parts that may help you. My search took me over 2 years!! TimeShare
  14. Too funny. I got a watch the other day (Breitling Flying B Chronograph) and the customs declaration had "Gift at $30 dollars". I was surprised it got through Customs. 'Gift" in Canadian means "Open Me". TimeShare
  15. There is an auction on E-bay for 25 Speedmasters for $145,000. Each Speedmaster is in honor of a space/moon flight. Here is the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=160315201123 TimeShare
  16. Wow, cool watch!! What is the bezel made of? Plastic or coated metal? TimeShare
  17. One that is missing Breitling Flying B Chronograph. The mother of pearl markers and dial is spot on. TimeShare
  18. Steinhart makes a nice watch. I have 4 of their watches and have been impressed with built quality vs cost. In addition, Gunter Steinhart (Germany) will make any problem right, no matter how small. 1st rate guy with 1st rate customer service. I originally bought the Steinhart B-Uhr with no name on the dial as I thought there would never be a decent Big Pilot Rep. However, even after luming the dial on the Big Pilot 5002 rep I prefer the Steinhart (amongst other items like fit, I like having lume on all the numbers on the dial unlike the IWC rep). TimeShare
  19. The Zigmeister Are most of the hour markers on rep dials glued to the dial? I have seen a few real OEM dials an they appear to mount the hour markers to the dial using metal prongs that go through the dial. No glue and no risk that they will fall out. TimeShare
  20. If soemone has bougth one can you please post pictures of the new Richard Milles. TimeShare
  21. The Zigmeister's lume work is the best. He has done several for me and I am always amazed at his skill and accuracy. He is responsible for me sitting in the dark and looking at my glowing wrist (ya I know it sounds weird but it is not hurting anyone). As the saying goes "You either get or you don't" TimeShare
  22. Sander No its the right one (the 3201 does not have rivets) and I bought it from an IWC AD. Anyway, different folks different tastes. I wish I had bought the brown alligator from the 5004 but perhaps my next purchase........ Thanks, TimeShare
  23. Sander What did you think of the genuine strap? I bought the genuine brown buffalo strap with white stitching just like you and I was diappointed with the way it looked and the thin stitching. I had Aaron Tan do a brown alligator strap with thicker off white stitching and think that straps looks alot better. Interested if you are happy with the look of the OEM strap? TimeShare
