  1. I have the watch in SS in both the black dial and the white dial. The sunken date is very noticeable, probably the worst sunken date of any rep I have owned. The date is so deep that it is hard to read it even to adjust the date. It is unfortunate as the watch itself is quite good but the date issue is very evident. TimeShare
  2. They are still available from some sellers. I was in contact with one authorized seller this week and he had the gold case version of the watch in either a brown or white dial (no Black dials). TimeShare
  3. I would say the IWC Ingenuir was the highest quality rep. I own one and it is far superior to the Big Pilots, top gun, GST or 3717. TimeShare
  4. Ditto. I have a genuine Old Navitimer Chronograph and I would not put that anywhere near water. For that matter I would not put any chronograph in water, too many openings in the case. TimeShare
  5. 23 at case and 20 at the buckle. Careful with the hex tube and screw head when you change the strap and use blue loctite to stop the hex screws from loosening and falling off. TimeShare
  6. How about these combinations? - a Breilting deployant strap on a 18mm black Breitling style deployant, - a black mesh, and - a honey brown tang strap. TimeShare
  7. I wonder if Andrew is the same person as say 5 years ago. Perhaps he sold the business to another person. He was at one time very helpful and while never gave long answers he was not rude. Now he seems literally like a new person OR we (the rep community) changed him over the years. TimeShare
  8. While the AP deployant buckle is not the most comfortable, i think it makes the watch look better and more high end. Not a fan of the regular tang buckle on the AP ROO. I have been lucky to locate 2 genuine AP deployant buckles (no holes on the side) and for some reason they are more comfortable than the rep deployants. TimeShare
  9. Not sure you can get the screws seperately but on fleebay you can buy no name screw in buckles and these screws may work for your panerai buckle. TimeShare
  10. Usually any AP ROO strap change is not easy but the rep strap (has a plastic insert) that allows an easy installation. I have AP straps from AP bands (after market), strapluxe, etc and none of the installation is easy. There is one seller (toro) on our forum that sells a genuine alligator skin with hornback that uses the rep plastic insert and they are easy to install. TimeShare
  11. A few pictures of my PAM 511 (rose gold=RG). Watch came with a RG V tang buckle which is incorrect as the 511 came with the panerai regular tang buckle in RG. I added a RG Panerai style deployant which is comfortable and more subtle (if you can refer to a RG 44mm watch as "subtle") than the V buckle. Watch looks nice on my dark brown alligator deploy strap with white stitching. I have looked for a gold Panerai for a while and most to date were poor quality. This KW produced version have a very good level of quality. I know some other forums have fixated on the shape of the 3 and especially the shape of the 6, but I think this rep is well done and the 3 and 6 are not as noticeable as a few have suggested. Nice lume even after limited exposure to the light. Thanks to Toro for great service - received in 4 days - 1 day to ship, 1 day to clear customs, 1 day to arrive in my area and then delivered on the 4th day. Enjoy the pictures. TimeShare
  12. I believe that all panerai deployants are 22mm at the buckle end. As such, the option available to you, if you wish to add it to you watch, would be to buy a specific deployant strap which is 26mm x 22mm (26mm at the case reducing to 22mm at the buckle end) and 22mm panerai deployant or panerai like deployant to fit the strap. 13. I bought the same strap from the same maker and cannot get it installed on my rose gold v6. On one side i cannot get the screw through the plastic holes on the strap and on the other side I have a screw that will not tighten or loosen (stripped) but it is a nice strap. TimeShare
  14. Absolutely beautiful and timeless. Sell me that watch, no really!! TimeShare
  15. Biggest benefit to Toro's straps is his manufacturer uses the same insert as the straps that come with the seconds at 12 ROO. So installing the straps is a breeze compared to any other strap. I have enough frustration in my life without adding to it with trying to fit a strap to a ROO that does not want to fit. I have bought 3 of these Hornback straps from Toro and have been happy with quality and fit. TimeShare
  16. Nice, like a distressed flight jacket. I am partial to this combo myself..... TimeShare
  17. Nice so were you able to put the watch under water straight from the factory OR did you have to modify and lube the gaskets, such the case back gasket? TimeShare
  18. I am interested in member opinions on the NooB vs the H Factory version of the PAM 088. My usual sellers have the H Factory version which looks nice but the recent pictorial on the 088 Noob '0' series on the forum showed a very nice watch which had a great dial. I would appreciate your thoughts on the 2 manuafcturers models. TimeShare
  19. Very nice, you are lucky. A lot of work too, I have done franken watches and it can take a lot of work and time. TimeShare
  20. My Ghost 237 on a honey brown alligator strap. TimeShare
