I would not leave it like that. IMO, it will crack again because the pressure is not being distributed evenly across the crystal. MAybe its slightly too large of diameter.

I ordered the open 6/9 wheels from his web sight (cubic-works) and received NOTHING. His communication is [censored] and that is putting it nicely. When I did finally get a reply he asked me for a part number, I gave it to him, THE ONE DIRECTLY OFF HIS WEB PAGE, and he says it was not his part number. So, I gave him every number I had the paypal #'s, his web sight #'s, every single number I had, I sent to him. He says, this not my part number. It's not like I was a pest, hell I waited over a month to ask him why I had not received the item thinking maybe there was a problem. Yea, there was a problem alight..............he took my money and sends me on a goose chase to recover it. Obviously he needed that $20 more than I do, so he can f'n have it. I have wasted my time with him and that is more important to me than the money. I do not recommend this seller at all.

Since the seconds are running at 9, I wish they would label it as such. I know its wrong compared to the genuine, but for me it is more wrong to have seconds that are labeled minutes. If they label it wrong, it would be just right.

Your watches look amazing. I am sure I would like to know your secret recipe for crown guard modification. You have obviously mastered this. The best i have seen.

What tools did you use to do the outside CG? They look excellent ! nice and pointy.

They are excellent replicas of genuine watches. With proper care, they should last many many years, and some a lifetime. If you desire a closer to original look, thats where the real fun and frustration begins. Shop around, find a genuine insert, a genuine crown, genuine parts are to be had, but you have to look for them. I found a genuine used submariner insert on Ebay for $50 that was 99% (not a single scratch). I have attempted CG modification on 3 Subs and its not easy at all, but i believe with a little more practice, i will be able to do this and do a good job. I am getting better and i am not one bit upset at the results. A bad job by me is still hands down less obvious that those fat guards they started with. My MBW red waits for me to perfect this. This watch deserves decent crown guards. (soon, my sweet little baby, soon) Wear them for what they are or modify the hell out of them and fool your friends and coworkers.

It also contains mink oil, so maybe mink oil would darken it. I believe its the water that makes it darker and the oil seals in that color. just my opinion.

I have a few of these. They are very nice. Thick. IMO they are a great value for the money. when you get them, they are very stiff. I twist them side to side to crease the leather, then I wipe them with a wet rag, them work some baseball glove oil into them. The dark carrot brown, is one of my favorites. It will darken them up, so dont wet them if you like the color as is. I have done this to many straps, as most of them show up a different color than they appear online.

1.) PAM 127 from Eddie 2.) Polex 1680 from luckyyy 3.) PAM 187 from Joshua - mainly because its new. a VERY close 3-1/2 - 4th PAM 118 My first PAM was a 111 from Joshua. Never been serviced, the minute hand has fallen off and put back on by ME. I actually puched it back on with a chap stick tube. The AR was accidently removed by me, trying to clean a smudge doing above repair. It has been through hell and no matter what i do to the thing, i cant tear it up. It is a beast ! i dont wear it too much anymore, but i would never ever let it go. It started the PAM addiction and you never forget your first.

If the watch was just recieved, and looks like this, the dealer should replace it. Call him out. its a POS.

I believe its only on the inside of the crystal. I clean the crystal with cape cod cloth when i clean the watch case. That said, only do this if its on the outside of the crystal. It is not hard to remove the coating. see dumb ass move on my part below for proof. My wife has these nasty little wipes that i find in the door pocket of my truck ALL THE FUGGIN TIME. They are supposed to take oil off without taking off makeup. ANYWAY, I decided one day to clean the crystal when i had the watch apart, thought this would be a good thing to use, NOT GOOD ! BAD IDEA ! it took every bit of the AR coat off with very little effort.

Everyone says to get davidsenjpn's crystal. Has anyone actually done this? Does it fit correctly? Is it an easy fix? pictures?????

I like the gun, and the constitution of the United States of America says it's okay for me to like them. Although it may be fun to go hunting with a rolling pin and a box opener.

I also have E0117 and it is mineral glass. it came with some sort of film on the inside of the glass. took the glass off, cleaned it then, bam! got a big fuggin scratch on the glass. looks like chit now. was thinking about davidsenjpn's crystal, but not seen anyone who has this. if its an easy fix, i would love to wear this watch again.
