I never shower/bath while wearing a watch. I always sleep with one on. OBVIOUSLY the idea is being able to know what time it is if I happen to wake during the night.

I set up my AV room just recently also. I have a new Sharp Aquos 50 inch LCD coupled with two Infinity Beta 50's on either side of the TV, an Infinity TSS Center4000 sitting a a small shelf on top of the TV and a Mirage S10 Subwoofer. Produces some incredible sound! Right now I am using a Bose 321GS type 2 as my source for sound for the Sharp. Plan on adding three Beta surrounds sometime in the future.

I hope the one Neil sends me has better bracelet fit. The end lugs look too big to a point where they stick out a bit from the end lugs. Typical MBW are good in this area. (at least the one I have) Also the insert looks like its ready to pop off its floating far above the bezel lip for sure. Also I cannot believe the ROLEX engraving will look that bad in person. The MBW factories typically produce a rep with very good fit and finish. I was told the watch will ship out tomorrow so I will keep everyone posted once I get the watch in my hands. I have never posted pictures before but maybe I will give it a try this time. It appears I will be among the first to own this watch for better or worse!

Also since the bezel assembly is the same as gen will the watch take a gen insert without modding? The insert that comes with the watch is glued in just like all other Sub reps?

Tribal.......I take it that the watch you are showing is THE new watch from TTK? If so.....aside from the bezel assembly how is the rest of the watch? Is the pearl a step forward or back? How is the fit and finish? CG? etc

Engraving is ROLEX not with a B. Although I will admit the engraving in general is not the best idea for this watch the fit and finish appears very good. Typical thick CG and lousey (but different) pearl. The hollow mid links are a real step in the right direction. Mine is on its way from TTK and I will post my thoughts then.

Have you all heard that TTK is offering a new MBW...2007 model with a hollow mid link bracelet and ROLEX inscribed along the rehaut? Any impressions?

From what I have heard that watch is not exactly what you will get from andrew. The maker has improved this watch over the last year. From what I saw it has a better pearl and perhaps the date mag is nor correctly positioned.

The daytonas look great. They also have major reliability issues. The dealers I speak to have told me not to buy since they cannot guarentee the watch will work month after month. What I would suggest is the new pre daytona or paul neuman daytonas that came out recently with the second at 6 hand frozen. (Joshua/Andrew/Angus) They have a manual movement that is very reliable. The watch may not be a perfect rep in appearance but how many can call out a 30 year old version of the daytona? Come on! These are beautiful, well constructed watches with my preference being the pre daytona with white dial and black bezel. BEAUTIFUL and its reliable!

If we measured any gen Sub with a caliper....the very top and the very bottom. The idea would not be to have exacting 100% measurement but instead something to shoot for....an idea as to how thick the top is in comparision to the bottom would allow a better idea of what a gen should look like. Anything is better than having no measurements at all to go by!

Like all high end reps the profit margin is astronomical. I find FM a very classy watch...very distinguished from the std round or square traditional watches. I own a FM Conquistador that I bought from Joshua and its an eye catcher for sure. There is a major issue with the band (unfinished sides of the end links) but aside from this its a strong runner and looks like the real thing.

Your correct but it would help to have some guidlines as to aproximate bottom CH thickness vs the top. At least we would then have some ball park figure. This may eliminate the highly overshaven CG I have seen by over zealous modders who just have no idea what they are shooting for.

And just how much were they selling a 200 dollar Noob for? If they were selling what we could all buy but at twice the price then I call that a scam. The z series is just around the corner for all of us so dont buy from MW9! You are throwing your money away.

Take the band and dial off/out of the NOOB and put both on/in the MBW. Best scenario is that you have a swiss eta movement in the NOOB and just swap dial and movement together,
