I have so many subs as well as the super SD where the divers extension keeps popping open. If there is a fix for this PLEASE let me know!!!!!!!!!!! Whats the trick?

I have all the Sub and SD reps and I really have to say the SUPER SD is the best I have seen in terms of overall fit and finish. Sure some issues with tight screws and divers extensions exist but even with this ..MAN it looks great! Not perfect but its a rep! Such a great watch BUT now I see along with the sizing issue that the divers extension wont stay closed. I wrote the dealer and hope for a replacement braclet very quick!

I just recieved my super SD and its an awesome watch. However I cannot resize the bracelet. One screw is so tight I cannot budge it. The head of the screw is now all beat up from trying to remove it. Another screw just spins and wont come out. I tried soaking in WD40 overnight but stll no luck. Please help..its a present for my father!!!!

If I were you get the new super seadweller. You will not regret it. Its the best out of the box Rolex rep available and virtually no one will be able to tell that its not a gen. Just DO IT!

is this tough to install? Can I do it myself?

That looks normal. As I stated some of the numbers have a space inbetween them. The question I have is if this is an eta movement why would the date wheel be so different?

I have a new MBW Sub that I love. However I notice that certain dates the numbers look VERY strange.....too far apart! I just set my watch and the date was on the number 27. I could not believe my eyes....the 2 and 7 were soo far apart! Its like its 2 space 7! Is this the way it should be with a ETA movement within a MBW???????? I also have a TW Best sub and I notice the date font is fine although the date mag is not as strong as compared with the MBW above. Comments please? Perry.

I agree to a point BUT the difference in bezel construction is H U G E. Are we sure that the case is thick like the gen? It appears slightly thinner. Josh told me that this SD will accept gen parts so if that is true all we need to do is add a gen bezel and its pretty much perfect?

Here is the story...I bought a beginmariner which looked great....fit and finish were just wonderful. That is until I looked closely at the dial and saw a nice size "dig" dk brown in color within the 6 oclock marker. I called Josh and he sent me a new dial immediatly. However now that I have the dial I am wondering how much it will cost me to unattach the current bad dial and attach this new one. How are the dials attached to the movement? I hope they are not glued down?????????? What is the round about cost of swapping dials as opposed to swapping out dial and movement together?

I suggest you check out the CURRENT MBW. I have one from 4-5 years ago and a new version. The current MBW has a conical rehaut. The earlier version rehaut is nice and straight....almost cylindical. I wish someone could explain to me what the MBW has changed so much for the worse in this respect.

I have mentioned this before BUT....I have a new MBW from TTK and its just as Wokky as the Ultimate Sub shown here. I also have an older (maybe 3-4 year old) TW best sub and it has a nice straight rehaut. Does anyone know why the current MBW is like this?

I went to the watchmaker9 website and I see TWO subs for sale. One is the Z series while the other is an F series. The F series costs considerably more. What is the difference???

I also have Joshua's PERFECT SD (no longer offered) which is a TW best. Its a beautiful watch BUT.....it is a SUB case, bezel is also from a sub so both are not thick enough, the valve is wrong, pearl is wrong and CG are thick. The question is............is the new offering better or worse than the PERFECT model? From what I can see....the pearl is worse, case is thicker but bezel is the same, valve is much better, CG are the same. So we have gained a thicker case but now have a real lousey pearl to contend with. The price is lower so thats a plus. All in all its an improvement!

I never said I thought any of them were perfect or 1:1. I am aware of the typical gen vs rep differences. Let me reprase: Are we getting any less or more with this watch as compared with what was termed the PERFECT SD which sold for 358 bucks? From what I see it looks like the new version has a thicker case unlike the previous which was just a sub case. Also it appears the bracelet edges are polished to a high sheen. The so caller perfect SD bracelet was just a sub type with non polished edges. Do we know for a fact that the case is thick like the real SD?

Can someone tell me why the PERFECT SD sold for 358 bucks while the new ULTIMATE 1:1 is only $278? I also notice that the PERFECT SD is no longer available. The only thing I see better with the new version is the gas escapement valve.

I have Josh's GMT Master II with the 2893 movement. (the one he sold for $428 but now unavailable) The question I have is as follows: 1) The GMT hand is set independently like the modified 2836 movements and the hand stack is wrong. Is this correct for this movement?

Hard to tell from the pictures BUT does the crystal look rounded at its edges? Sort of looks like the KING SD with that odd crytal...if my eyes are not decieving me.

WELL...That will leave you with a non eta movement in a MBW. How difficult is it just to exchange dials?

There are many pics of MBW GWSD and mine is the same. However you have to see this watch in person to really be impressed. With the superdome its breathtaking. Best watch I have in terms of a rep and I have quite a few of them.

I picked up my TTK MBW GWSD from the watchsmith today. I had them install a Clark superdome crystal and waterproof the watch. The watch is just stunning. If anyone here is interested in Rolex watches do not hesitate in buying this watch! Anyway the guy behind the counter told me that he had to bring the watch into NY city to get the waterproofing done. The guy doing the work commented that the watch was amazing, perfect and the best rep he had ever seen....and "look it even has a swiss movement"!
