I was all set to buy an ED sub which are highly rated for around 650 bucks. I was just about to pull the trigger when I saw a good picture of what it looked like. An ungodly huge ugly BOX with poor fit and finish from my perspective. The Mirage s10 also gets rave reviews, gets down to 21 Hz and looks great in my audio/video room. It also sounds wonderful....I have it set up with a new pair of Infinity Beta 50's and a Infinity TSS center4000. This set up rocks and at the same time provides great effects for movies. I highly recommend the Mirage sub for sure. It blows away most of the store brands such as Polk you will find at best Buy.

Why would you say they are not a scam site if they were selling the same reps we could buy through our own dealers at twice the price? Even if the product today is better would this not raise a huge red flag for all those who know how the rep world operates? If they were selling the watches we could all buy ourselves at twice the price would this not indicate that the Sub they now offer is just around the corner for all of us to buy at much lower cost? As an example.....They were at one time selling a TW best sub and the price was around 500 bucks.

OK but i thought it was in process? In other words he is trying to get that YM 1:1 but as of yet not sucessful. True?

Angus is seling a 1:1 YM?? I know he talked about it but where is it being sold by him????

Bottom line then WM9 is a rep site that WAS selling the very same watches we could buy from our TRUSTED dealers at double the price. Can everyone say S C A M????? IMO anyone who would buy from WM9 knowing about OUR dealers is a fool. He sold the watches we all know about at double the price. Now he finds an updated sub and certainly this will be available to all of us very soon. I am sure at a lower price,

Its not just how low the sub will go but also the quality of sound. The Mirage is crisp and accurate as well as LOW and loud. I have heard subs that are listed as going lower than the Mirage but the sound was sloppy and muddy. Why not try Mirage S12 sub? These subs also LOOK good as well as sounding wonderful. Some of these ultra low subs look like they belong hidden in a box and never shown the light of day they are soooo ugly.

I just bought a Mirage s10 sub and it is out of this world. HIGHLY recommended.

Sounds like a bunch of lost souls on the WM9 website. That Daytona looks like what we all could buy from Joshua. Nice watch but it will potentially have issues with that Asian 7750 movement and of course the price is inflated. Those on that web site just dont know we exisit and this is why they are clamoring for a Asian 7750 with seconds at 6 Daytona! Another sign to stay far away! Im sorry....the WM9 sub looks like a modified TW best.....solid link bracelet, skewed SWISS MADE (skewed to the left) and thick CG along with that tell tale poor sticker on its back. Also the M's dont line up.....typical less than top notch dial found on a TW best. Yes I see the gen like bezel construction etc but NO WAY am I paying those kind of bucks for a modified TW best. Buy a TW best and a NOOB. Switch dial and bracelet and install a WM pearl and you are done. Noone is going to take off your insert to check for how the bezel is constructed!

Please explain why the only customer picture of a sub available on WM9 website shows a TW best sub? All others have been deleted. Please explain why on that same website there are many customers complaining about lost inserts and how they are glued in? Sounds just like the subs we all buy from our TRUSTED dealers. Please explain why at least one customer states that he likes his WM sub beacuse the CG are so thick? "offers more protection" LOLOLOL Again sounds like the typical thick CG one would expect from a TW best or MBW etc. Once again I am not saying that WM9 is a scam site. It may be selling the best subs in the world. BUT how do you explain the above? Does this give you or anyone a good feeling that this watch site is describing their goods accuratly? Sounds like they are showing one sub but shipping another.

Now, the WM9 are the only quite 1:1 modern Rolex on the marke, ( that's a fact). So may be WM9 could became the new MBW for the modern Rolex modder. Infact they are the only 16610 rep. were you can get, without modding , Gen bezel, Gen insert, Gen retaining ring, Gen Saphire, GEN tube (It's jet big) and GEN crown too. All I know is....if you look on the WM9 website the only picture that was not deleted from someone who actually bought a WM9 sub shows a TW best sub that you can buy from Joshua for 350 bucks. AND thats a fact!

I have one. The problem is the asian movement and real bad bracelet fit. I guess it all boils down to expectations.

I spent the last hour or so on the WM9 website and I have to say I am not impressed. The watches he shows as examples look great but I find it interesting that 90% of photos sent by customers are not available for viewing. The several that I did find were a day/date and a VIP Sub. The day/date had horrible end lugs with gaps galore! The VIP Sub was no doubt a TW Best..nice sub but with solid mid links, flattop pearl. Also read at least 2 posters mention that the CG seem to "offer more protection than a gen" because they are thicker and cover the crown better!!!!!!!!!!!! In laymans terms they look as bad as the ones you can buy from Joshua or Andrew at half the price!!!!!! ALSO I read many posters complain about bezels coming loose BUT that George sends a new one right away and also includes the adhesive required to glue it in!!!!!!!!!! Sound familar? Once again we dont know if WM9 is real or not. The above does not give me a warm and fuzzy feeling. Sounds like he is selling watches that are available to us already but at inflated prices.

I think you know something I dont! Are you sure about? BMW. I boght few time without problems and had maximum support there too, it's sure No Scam. Please Perry lett me know too..... ITS quite simple. Over time Andrew, Joshua, King, Angus, TTK etc. have all proved themselves to sell the very best available and stand behind what they sell. WM9 has yet to prove itself. Maybe whoever runs this site is legit and wont scam some buyer and will stand behind the watches they sell...but that is a MAYBE at this point in time. What I am saying and what every knowledgable poster on here would say is that WM9 has NOT proven itself yet. Why send 600 or more dollars to someone who very well wont be here tomorrow or may not stand behind defective products? I for one whould not chance it. In any event what ever WM9 sells will also be sold in short order by every one else at I am sure lower prices so why pay an inflated rate? That desperate for a Sub?

I have about 30 gens and 15 or so reps. I can think of only three times someone actually noticed the watch I was wearing enough to make a comment. Gen Rado Ceramic Gen Montblanc Miesterstuck 18k plated with white dial - "wonderful timepiece you have there' Rep Brietling Ult EVO - drunk cornered me at a starbucks in Seattle. Rep Rolex president blk diamond dial and diamond bezel - beatiful stewardess saw my watch "nice watch..lots of bling"

I just bought a cartier 1:1 Roadster and was just about to buy the new Porsche on rubber strap that just came out. However I have this strong feeling that something new is about to hit in terms of a better Sub so I am holding all my funds for a while. I have so many Subs ..TW best, MBW modern, Nymph, 1680, Perfect LV, Bond Sub, and in a flash I would buy another! This rep collecting hobby is out of control!

Which did you order?

I bought mine from Angus. The first one he sent the screws were impossible to loosen and in process of trying I scratched it all up. So being the great dealer he is he sent me another which did not have these issues. I wear it all the time and I see nothing wrong with it. Fit and finish as just about perfect. No gaps, nothing loose, Screws are no problem as stated, best I have ever seen and I own many many subs as well as a TW best SD. Unless you really know a ROLEX SD gen you will never call out the SSD rep. We all know its not perfect but it looks like a 5000 watch without any major visible flaws. OK OK I know the rehaut thickness is thin, CG a bit thick and the pearl not the best but anyone holding the watch feeling the heft, fit and finish and quality would never point to it as a rep...no way. Thats 99.999% of the public you will come in contact with. SURE if you are real unlucky a SD geek will spot it as a fake but how many of those are around???? LOL

I agree and disagree here. With the NOOB the big issue with me is its pot luck concerning the fit of the end links besides the case and lugs. A sloppy fit/gaps in my mind make the watch look FAKE. (BIG time fake) And this is noticable by all not just Rolex geeks. I have had two NOOBs...one I sent back because of a host of issues most noticably a date that stopped working. Its replacement was and is nice but with a sloppy bracelet fit with gaps where none should be. (both had this problem) Overall fit and finish in my mind is No 2...right behind No 1 which is that the watch tells time! LOL However in terms of the case, CG, dial and PRICE the NOOB is certainly the No 1 best buy. The super sea dweller has excellent fit and finish. The bracelet (although some issues with sizing) is the best I have seen in any Rolex rep. Nicely polished edges etc. The only issues can only be caught by someone who really knows this watch in gen form well. The thin frontal rehaut thickness although anoying by those who are used to seeing the gen would never be called out by anyone unless they really knew their stuff. These people would call out any rep Rolex in any case. SOO...my thought is ..buy the SSD. Its a great watch, great fit and finish and its Swiss ETA! ALL for under 300 bucks.

You did not say in your post that you wanted a TT sub! My advise is...dont buy one. I had a MBW TT sub from around 4 years ago and the end lug gold plating wore through. I did not wear the watch daily and I washed off the gold after every wearing. STILL after 3 or so years I had to throw away the band and install a croc strap. TTK told me that the gold plating is much better now but there is no way to be sure. If you are set that you want a very good quality TT sub then buy from TTK. Links are NOT solid and the fit and finish is VERY VERY good. Only worry is that gold plating and that unfortunatly is a complete unknown. Do NOT consider WM9 at this point in time.

Dont confuse the guy. Josh Perfect sub is a TW best and its a good sub but it will have a solid mid link bracelet, bad CG and not so good dial. TTK's MBW sub is just like the TW best in terms of faults. Not the SAME but similar. The BK mariner/Nymph/Noob for the money are great but dont ever confuse the asian movement with a swiss eta. I have never had any issues with a swiss eta but plenty of issues with the asian movements. Also the fit and finish of bracelet to case is typically not good....gaps, poor fit and finish in this area. I agree that if you are short of cash and want the best sub with lowest cost in mind there is no arguement that these low cost subs are outstanding. BUT if the idea is swiss eta and you want only ONE sub with no thoughts of modding then I would look at the Ultimate from Andrew. You eliminate getting a solid link bracelete as if you would buy a MBW or TW best. You also eliminate the poor fit and finish ot the NOOB/NYMPH types where bracelet meets case. Its eta so you will have a bulletproof movement. The only issues with the Ultimate would be the slightly conical rehaut really....the pearl although not perfect is actually better than in the pics shown on his web site...not bad at all really. Also the CG have been trimmed...not perfectly mind you but certainly acceptable. Bottom line is the following..assuming you want to do NO mods and you want to have only ONE sub.... If you have the bucks - Andrews ultimate sub If you have moderate bucks - Andrew or Josh swiss eta powered sub (typically around 300 bucks) If you are looking to buy at the lowest price but get the best at that price - BK's asian or swiss powered fully modded Sub.

MBW last time I checked was 375 bucks. Its a great sub but you need to settle for a solid mid link bracelet, bad CG and poor date font. As I mentioned before on here my MBW was called out as a rep when the guy I gave it to saw the solid mid links. It took all of 7 seconds! FORGET WM9 already! Once again we do not know if this is a scam site! The BK mariner is also a great watch but the issue for me is poor fitting end links aside the case and lugs. A ROLEX must have great fit and finish. The eta version fully modded will cost you around 350 and you will wait 3-4 months to get the watch. What you want is an swiss eta with great fit and finish with no screamingly obvious issues. If paying 488 for the Ultimate Sub is not in your price range try Andrews Perfect sub. It has great fit and finish, great dial, great bracelet, swiss eta, ...the issues will be shallow rehaut and thick CG. If you buy the Ultimate from Andrew that extra 150 bucks will get you a deeper rehaut although conical and better (although not perfect) CG.

If you look on the internet for rep watches you will find hundreds. Of those hundreds only a handfull are NOT scam sites. You will find the NON SCAM providers for rep watches on these boards. Trusty, Joshua, King, Puretime (Angus), TTK etc are all excellent suppliers of top of the line reps at fair prices. If you are looking for a sub I would ask you to first spend the next 3 months researching on these boards and you will learn so very much and you will in the end know a good rep from a bad one. THEN buy yourself a sub. Now if all you want is the best rep sub out there right now I would suggest three..........TTK MBW (great case, great fit and finish, deep rehaut but with solid link bracelet, thick CG, so so dial and a date font that is a little funky. Andrews ULTIMATE Sub.....(great fit and finish, great dial, better CG, BUT conical rehaut, and the BK mariner (great bracelet, great dial, nice case, best CG BUT shallow rehaut, and at times sloppy fit and finish were the bracelet meets the case) You will also wait 3-4 months for the BK mariner. Knowing all that I know now I would say to you to wait until the next ULTIMATE version of the sub is offered which I am sure will be sometime this year. If you are looking for just one Sub and have no desire to mod go ahead and buy Andrews ULTIMATE sub. Its not perfect but overall its the best choice IMO. I own 5 subs because I was looking for the best and kept poking and hoping with each being a let down in the end. If I had bought the Ultimate Sub 2 years ago I would have saved myself $ in the end. Again its not perfect but it has top of the line fit and finish which in my mind is No 1.
