I was looking through my collection earlier and realised that over time I seem to have collected several sets of 'twins'.
I'm sure I have some more too. I know I have a couple more AP divers and several Seamaster Professionals.
I scraped the old glue off and used a contact adhesive from a hardware store. Just a few drops, not too much otherwise it would squeeze between the crystal too and you want to be able to rotate the bezel!
Chances are it will be very very good. I had a 16610 from Andrew last year and the only thing I wasn't happy with was the bracelet - it had a cheap feel to it. A quick oil bath (dry bike chain lube) sorted it and the it was great. The weight and feel should be good on yours. Enjoy it when you receive it.
lol, to be honest it's a love hate thing: I love the watch but hate the fact that I'm always trying to change it! I have a distressed brown leather strap on the way so.......
Oh, and I'd not bother changing your TC insert for a gen, there's not THAT much to choose between them. I'd say it's mostly in the mind: knowing its a gen insert.
This was how they arrived with me.
I never wore the Caddell Rouge on the bracelet and initially replaced it with black leather and later with a Stingray strap. For some reason I hankered after a Black Bay so decided to pop a red insert in for a while. This is how she looks now.
The LV came with a black insert installed, so I popped a Flat 4 LV in and now we have.
