  1. I've no idea, so I just did this.........
  2. My watchmaker would probably charge you $15-20 to replace the two pins. I'd try another jeweller if I were you.
  3. Picked up yesterday.
  4. Funny, she never says that to me.
  5. Stalking AJ in M2M sales

  6. And so the addiction begins..... On a brighter note, you've found a good rep forum where you'll get great advice and (relatively) safe access to a vast array of good quality reps. Make sure you use the TD's - don't just google their names, i.e. trustytime, as their are loads of scam sites with the same/similar name. If you're unsure if it's a gen rep site(!!!) check here or even ask. Good luck
  7. Everything good from an i-device (for once). Didn't have to do anything, the forum loaded fine, even remembering my username and password.
  8. Sam, welcome from a fellow Brit. If you state what type of watch; make, model etc, I'm sure the friendly bunch here will help. If you're unsure of buying from the Trusted Dealers on here then DO NOT buy from a random website. Have a look at the member to member sales on here and find something you like in the UK - it's an easy way into the rep world.
  9. Apparently, Puretime have these in stock........
  10. If it was a cheapie then it's fine to use as a daily beater. However as hazey has already said, it's not a great rep. Still now you've found this site things can only get better.
  11. Good that you let people know. I'm sure it's appreciated by the members trying to contact you, but as you have said you're needed elsewhere. I hope it all works out for the best.
  12. No time like the present!
  13. The biggest problem is that everyone you meet will assume it's a fake just because it's a Rolex, especially a gold Rolex. Whilst it's not the best rep, even from a distance people will assume it's not genuine - unless you move in circles where everyone around you wears $20K+ watches and then they won't care. Still as others have said, it looks fine for a test to see if YOU like the look and feel of these and if you do, then it doesn't matter what others think anyway. Good luck with your purchase and welcome to RWG.

Great and informative post Pete. So good to have you back on the forums.
  15. Mine was almost immediate. Contact a mod and they will help you.
  16. Just keep searching the M2M sales forums as they pop up from time to time. I've managed to buy three this way recently
  17. ?
  18. Or do you mean the bracelet?
  19. Finally a non quartz rep. They do look good though, another for my list.
  20. Oh no. Another Seamaster that I must buy. I have no willpower when it comes to them.
  21. ^^^^^^ One of the good guys and a TD for a reason. Enjoy your watch when it arrives and don't forget to post photos.
  22. Welcome. Now sit back and wait and then wait some more. That's the hardest part of this hobby.
  23. I'll buy you 2 cups of coffee for it. There you go, double your money!
  24. Unlucky, but hats off to you for trying. Fortunately for me, I'm a marine engineer and all my hammers are too big to open case backs.
  25. That one is for 18mm lugs though Martijn. There are plenty of generic ones on eBay though. I fitted one to my Seamaster 2254.
