Part of this hobby is to learn to deal with these issues. I know it's disappointing, but you must not do anything stupid such as PayPal/bank chargebacks. You'll find all over the fora that these issues sometimes occur. Be patient and wait, Angus is a good guy, it may time longer than you want, but it will be sorted out.
And so the addiction begins.....
On a brighter note, you've found a good rep forum where you'll get great advice and (relatively) safe access to a vast array of good quality reps. Make sure you use the TD's - don't just google their names, i.e. trustytime, as their are loads of scam sites with the same/similar name. If you're unsure if it's a gen rep site(!!!) check here or even ask.
Good luck
Sam, welcome from a fellow Brit. If you state what type of watch; make, model etc, I'm sure the friendly bunch here will help. If you're unsure of buying from the Trusted Dealers on here then DO NOT buy from a random website. Have a look at the member to member sales on here and find something you like in the UK - it's an easy way into the rep world.
If it was a cheapie then it's fine to use as a daily beater. However as hazey has already said, it's not a great rep. Still now you've found this site things can only get better.
Good that you let people know. I'm sure it's appreciated by the members trying to contact you, but as you have said you're needed elsewhere. I hope it all works out for the best.
The biggest problem is that everyone you meet will assume it's a fake just because it's a Rolex, especially a gold Rolex. Whilst it's not the best rep, even from a distance people will assume it's not genuine - unless you move in circles where everyone around you wears $20K+ watches and then they won't care. Still as others have said, it looks fine for a test to see if YOU like the look and feel of these and if you do, then it doesn't matter what others think anyway. Good luck with your purchase and welcome to RWG.
