  1. PM me - I'm in the UK.
  2. Well, it started with a black and stainless Seiko 7T32 which I bought when I was 21. I wore it nearly every day for around 20 years so in many ways that is my 'longest' favourite. I continued adding more Seiko 7T32 and 7T42 to my collection until about 2 years ago when I really got into reps. I've always loved Omega Seamasters so it was a natural progression to buy some. I bought a new gen blue Seamaster chrono 18 months ago but decided that it was almost too nice to wear so I started hunting for a black rep of the same. I eventually found one and that was my first chrono rep. I then needed a blue one and now have 2 pre 2008 and 2 post 2008 Seamaster chronos. However two of them need some work and will be frankened - both need new crowns/tubes and one will have a gen white dial installed (once it's been relumed), the other already has an orange PO insert fitted. So, I guess the simple answer to my favourite chrono question is one of my Seamaster chronos. (Currently my gen titanium on an olive green strap). I really should have more 'love' for my gen Speedy Pro but she is mostly a box queen. One thing I've learned over the past couple of years is that I'm generally better off buying either a used gen or a new/used rep as I don't like getting desk diving marks on $4k gens!
  3. I'd suggest a new SMP ceramic - as in the 'new' Seamaster rather than the 'old' Seamaster with the aluminium insert. I have a Bond 50th and it's great. My friend has the cheaper version (no small marker by the date at three) and it's very nearly as good. Both great reps for the money and they come up fairly frequently in the M2M sections on the various rep forums.
  4. Hmmmm, once I'd taken this photo, I thought to myself "I've too many chrono's". Then I realised that I'm missing a few from the photo! Either lurking deep within a watch box or off for repair. I started collecting them 24 years ago with some Seiko 7t32 movements. I wasn't until a couple of years ago that I really started to go to town on it though. The collection here is a mix of rep and gen. Mostly auto but with a few quartz thrown in for good measure.
  5. Wonderful looking piece. Now strap it to your wrist AJ and I don't want to see it in the M2M section (or do I?)........ Wear it well my friend.
  6. Rep stainless Seamaster Chronograph yesterday, gen titanium Seamaster Chronograph today.
  7. I've been wearing this today. ...... and with light. A franken Seamaster: gen dial and movement.
  8. Was she talking about the watch?
  9. Depends on many things: wrist size, clothing etc. The mid size generally fits better under cuffs if you've a smaller wrist so may work better for work etc. Good choice regardless as they're s timeless piece.
  10. Looks very good, well done........... now, how much do you charge for this mod? lol
  11. It's a quick and easy job. You just need a steady hand and follow the instructions that others have advised. Once you've finished the clasp will be returned to as new condition and you'll feel proud of yourself.
  12. I want one now! Looks better than I thought it would.
  13. How about a gen Tag F1 200m. These are small and are great value second hand - a quick look on eBay and they're selling for less than £100. Or, I believe that there are Pams that come in around 42mm, check some of the TD's web sites.
  14. Sweet mixture of divers there. I much prefer the tang buckle to the deployment strap too. I'm slowly changing all my ROO's and Divers away from deployment straps - it costs a small fortune though!
  15. Another 1 post wonder newb never to be seen again?
  16. It's "tomorrow" now Pics pics pics please.
  17. TC, BK, or Rolex? Hahaha wear it well, looks great.
  18. I have a couple of old gen Omegas that look similar. Have you considered looking for an old gen - sometimes the prices are very reasonable. Try eBay!
  19. You want to buy something, but don't want to contribute to the forum? You side step the M2M forum and post here. Why not buy from a TD? Do your research and find an out-of-the-box rep that's close(ish) to gen and be happy.
  20. It's a new Omega, therefore I need it! I just wish the lume was less yellow and more white. I know it's the vintage look, but there is vintage style and there is vintage old/dated looking
  21. Whilst my 4S is working I really can't justify the expense - I'm not renewing my contract for it as I'd buy it outright. When the time comes I'll probably go with a new iPhone, be it 6, 6S or 7.....
