  1. lol, like kids in a candy store.
  2. Now that IS nice.
  3. Micky, even though you were expecting it, it will still be a shock to you and it will take time to adjust. ANY customer of yours that doesn't show compassion/sympathy should not be welcomed back in my opinion. Yes, business is business, but this is community (as AJ has proved) and people should understand and support you. Send your group email, explain that you will be in contact in a week, two weeks or whatever. It's not going to cause anyone problems not having a 'fake' watch for a few more days.
  4. My condolences Micky At least you had a chance to say goodbye.
  5. Glad you had the time with your mum Micky, and that you've made it home too. Keep us updated on the situation.
  6. Good. I know it's an awful situation, but you both need this. If you want a beer later let me know.
  7. Loving my Titanium Seamaster Chrono.
  8. Her comfort is now paramount. She maybe holding out for you to get to her, don't make her wait. Fingers crossed that you get there in time to comfort her.
  9. Take the above advise Micky. Everything else will be there next week, your mum nay not. I'm still around London at the moment if you need anything. Drop me an email if you do.
  10. lol, thread bump! However, yes the sub dials work just fine - on mine at least. Lovely rare watch, much less common than the blue one. Good luck hunting one down.
  11. Sorry, I'm in the UK so don't follow CONUS modders/fixers too closely although I know that there are a few. Try posting in general or use the search function.
  12. Sorry to hear the news mate. Email sent.
  13. A fantastic gesture. I'm in as I want to fit one to a sub case.
  14. It would help if you posted where you are.
  15. Looks great. Well done chaps
  16. Yeah, back at last. Happy again!!!!
  17. Phew, good to hear that the money's been returned and hopefully the Paypal account is safe too.
  18. Well, it had to happen at some point: one of my watches being noticed and even commented on. Usually most people are blind to what's on your wrist. Well, not today.......... I'm in the process of trying to change jobs. I had an interview arranged for this afternoon, with the MD of a company who were looking to create a new position - and my CV fitted very well. I walked in, took a seat when invited and started with the chit-chat. Very quickly I noticed that the interviewer was wearing what looked like a SD Pro Hunter. Oh no, I'm wearing a rep Pam, hope he doesn't notice I thought, and within a second he mentioned my watch. A polite thank you, I'm a collector too, let's talk watches next time if that's okay with you and we moved on to the business in hand. Not sure what impressed him the most, but I've been invited back to meet the board next week.
  19. Matt, did you get your money back?
  20. The only way I 'believe' lume shots is when there is another, ie gen watch alongside to compare it too. Even then it's possible to charge the rep's lume and not the gens, and then increase exposure time so that they both look similar.
  21. A quick google of the email give a link to a site where he scammed other people too. http://www.epicnpc.com/threads/23790-Sydor-H-P-Leveling-and-Gold-Farming!! Sorry you had to take the hit Matt, scammers are just [censored]. I've been done by a watchsmith over on the geek. Ssteel knows all about that one too!
