I have a gen Breitling Cosmonaute SS with 18k bezel and a 7 link pilot 18k/SS bracelet. It is a gorgeous piece, very minty, amazing movement (Lemania 1877) but pricey. With all of the new amazing reps coming out (187, etc) I am tempted to sell it to fund other purchases. It's worth about $3000-$3500 on the market. Should I sell it and grab 10 or so nice reps or just hang on to it?

I would be in. All over it in fact. Love the 187, just got EL's email about the 187 with the 7750. Not too enthused about that movement though. Put in the 7753 and im all over it.

Personally I tend to like and stick with the swiss movements.

Wow - thats nuts. Seems liek the heat gets more intense as time goes buy. It will make the hobby more expensive

I emailed back and forth with Luckyyy a few times today but I continue to be torn. I want something believable; the DRSD and SRSD are very rare and makes it harder to believe. Starting to think that the WSD vintage may ne the way to go. Need to see some pics of it.

Vintate MBW Replica if possible. I think that they are more accuate. Ultimately I want something that looks very vintage.

As I understand the vintage as in older ones are better. Thats what im looking for. Accuracy baby!

I got my gen Breitling off the bay, just make sure to do your homework. Took me a few months of searching to find the right watch and the right dealer. If you need dealer info let me know; he's excellent, honest and only deals in high end gen's.

They are both amazing looking, im starting to search for my first Sub. Want to go vintage and accurate. I really like the green.

Guess my next thing to do is identify which one I want. Im somewhat partial to the look of the doublered although I know it's somewhat of a giveaway because of the rarity of them. Definetley want to go vintage, love the look and feel of the old rollies.

This is a stupid question but I have never really followed the Rolex scene. I am finally interested in an Explorer or a Sub; every one always discusses MBW in connection with some of the best subs. Im guessing that MBW is a dealer - but I could be wrong. Can anyone bring me up to speed? Thanks and flamesuit is on for the inevitable fireballs that shall be hurled in my general direction...
