rolexman ... i hear ya! Everytime I get a watch with a bezel insert, I have bad luck. Although, my PO did withstand a scratch and my silix sub also, but my 5513 took a beating this week (thanks to all who are helping me out).
When I get my next insert, I am going to try and grind it. Good tip, Speedy1!
I love the entire project! The only thing I don't like is that "fat" minute hand. it draws my eye away from the dial and bezel. Everything else is perfect for me! Good job!
I got all wrapped up in the (side) discussion of Havana Club rum that I forgot the wine. My favorite wine is the one I make myself. i buy kits for $50 and then 28 days later I have 5 gallons of goodness. I usually do Chianti. It consistently tastes great and impresses the neighbours. Also, a fun hobby (after watches, of course).
I always swim and shower with my TWG 5513. Diving...only off the low board. But, when I got my watch, the first thing I did was use silicone grease on all the orings and made sure everything was tight. Then, with baited breath, I put it in the sink. If bubbles appear, no water for that one.

I've got a 12" downfiring JBL at home that thumps. It makes my kitchen cupboards upstairs rattle!
In my truck, 2006 Chevy 1/2 t (company truck ), I have the Bose system. It pounds as well! I love bass!
I think it's pretty good, even if it MGM are denying it. This really whets our appetites.
That jump from the crane is awesome!

Yeah, he also claimed his "freind" was driving the car when it crashed. When the police asked him where his friend was, he said the guy ran away!
What a nob!
