Gen dimensions and or spec does not mean gen construction. The TC, Sean, WM9, and probably others that I might be aware of, are gen construction. The y3135 fits perfectly in my Sean YM case using the gen clamp screw system there are special cut outs in the case to install a gen spec movement. Many rep makers claim 1:1 or gen spec but are not internally and some won't even take a gen crystal.
It doesn't flip at 11:45, I just set it there to let it flip on its own as I read some of them flip two days at a time naturally but flip one day at a time when going past midnight manually by the crown.
Got mine today, anyone else? They both flip the date one day at a time(at least the two times I set them at 11:45pm the date changed fine)
Is it just me or does the bottom one look like the date is not centered on the crown stem? Is that adjustable?
Who is going to get theirs serviced before installation, who is going to just drop it in, and who is going to throw gen parts on it? I'm getting mine serviced, gen date wheel, installed and covered up never to be seen again. As good as a TC and Bk DWO is, not every date is centered and those few days bother me.
He is out of stock so is BK. Sean at eta.swiss emailed me last week letting me know that he had a few complete case sets(for 3135) for sale at $538 plus shipping.
I have a brand new BK/SEAN YM with a Swiss 2824, a worn but excellent TCFDYM with Swiss 2824, and a brand new Sean case set with 3135 dial and hands just waiting for the new Y3135 that is suppose to be available soon. I am going to be selling either the BK/Sean or the TC in about a month. I still can't figure out which one is better and get them confused all the time. If you are serious and can wait ill PM you when I decide.
Don't think the 16610 ever came with AR cyclops but Its a great upgrade for gen owners
The lec on a gen is so hard to see I have to look really hard to see it with a loop, so no one will ever know it's not period correct because of the lec. I put one on my yacht master silver dial I literally can't see the lec unless the light is in a perfect position using a 10x loop.
