  1. Changed up and finished a long workout and then yard work. It's 1130 AM and already 90 degrees. Going to enjoy a Don Pepin and some Ruta Maya Jiguani coffee and relax. Sent from my droptop using telepathy

  3. Good advice above. Synthetic steel wool like a scotch brite pad works also. Usually a couple rounds of "sanding" and polishing adds a nice vintage look. Sent from my droptop using telepathy
  4. Too funny, he thanked you for the gift. In the mid to late 70's I was into BMX racing and built a bunch of cool bikes, but my all time favorite was a Blue DG Racer that I built from scratch. I cannot remember the components used but it was all the best stuff from back then. Worked for my dad to get funds to buy parts. This bike was super fast and super light and totally pristine. I loved that bike. My little brother is 6 years younger than me, so when I turned 16 and started driving my Mother talked me into giving him the bike. He trashed it in less than a month.....

  9. I like the gray look and textured dial but too busy for me. Plus that is new Tudor price range. Sent from my droptop using telepathy
  10. I had one of the old school Cannondale beer can frame mountain bikes that I built about 20 years ago. Nothing too special. All Shimano components, but it was a large frame to fit me at 6'3". About 15 years ago, I changed rims and tires and converted it to a road bike and was riding pretty regularly back then. Then lost interest and started lifting weights again. You will love this...I was on a work trip and my wife sold it at the church yard sale for $300.
  11. Definately looks like it has been Exploring. I agree with above on the minute hand but sounds like you have already changed it out. I also prefer these with the super domes. Love the case. I am in the process of 1016 build #2 and strongly considered a gen case, but ended up using JMB v2 milled case. Yours looks great.

  15. Beautiful straps and great write up. Sent from my droptop using telepathy
  16. At least in my strap collection, most of the thinner straps are more casual and the padded or thicker ones are more dressy and usually an exotic skin. Not always though, I have a really thick brown pebbled leather and white stitch 20x20 that is casual. I like them all...I generally do not think much about the thickness and more about whether I am going casual or formal and that will dictate strap or bracelet choice.

  22. Yes the sample I saw was a nice lighter royal blue shark in that suede looking finish. Looks soft and subtle. He has 3 blues in stingray from royal to a really light sky blue. Knowing me I will end up with both... Sent from my droptop using telepathy
  23. Not a fan of shark week either but I like that strap. Nice combo. I am contemplating a blue shark strap for my Pepsi. Struggling deciding between blue shark, stingray or vintage leather. Sent from my droptop using telepathy
  24. Very nice. Big D does some awesome work. Enjoy. Sent from my droptop using telepathy
