  1. Wow, thank you all very much for your advice! Really appreciated! Daytona, I've also thought of just one point of the dial being mis-printed, but it seems the whole dial actually is a bit off-centered. I'll keep you updated on my progess Cheers! pedro
  2. Congrats to an awesome piece italiano! Very stylish and slick, yet agressive. It's growing on me more and more. Cheers! Pedro
  3. Hey all! Thought I'd ask if anyone of you know if the HBB dial is (re)movable? On one of my HBB's, the whole dial seems a tiiiiiny bit off-centered compared to the bezel screws (I'm extremely picky ). Is this possible to fix in some way? Cheers! Pedro
  4. Thanks for your answers! So even up-close with very bright lighting, you're not even able to detect small hairline scratches? Hm, I wonder what kind of material my polished bezel is then...? Any ideas? I think it's a v2 - it has an extremely textured dial (cf), but screw out crown.
  5. Looks really nice! Congratulations and wear it well! Cheers, Pedro
  6. Interesting - I've also thought about my ceramic (polished) bezel looking a bit plastic. There are numerous tiiiny hairline scratches on it, if inspected very closely with bright light shining right on, which seems fishy to me since real ceramic is supposed to be totally unscratchable? Or do these microscopic hairlines exist even on "real" ceramic? (About the watch itself: I think i have the V2; it has a screw-down crown, deeper cf dial (much more gen looking) and better datefont.) Any members with polished bezels care to chime in? Cheers! Pedro
  7. Yep, it does - but don't let the pics fool you I'd be very surprised if they made this in a new, larger case (current Overseas is 42mm). Check this out for more pics: http://indepth.watchprosite.com/show-nblog.post/ti-352177/ Cheers! Pedro EDIT: On pam111's site, higher up in this thread, it says 38mm. Might actually be true, but it still wears smaller than my already small 36mm IWC (a gen 3741)
  8. What's the price for this baby, by the way?
  9. Hey Chronus, I've seen BM's with both white and black datewheels. The one in my hublot catalogue is flat (non-cf) dial, white datewheel, and brushed ceramic - which seems to be the most common configuration: But variations exist - my AD has a polished bezel, for example. Not sure about the cf dial though! Regarding the back of the case: yes, it's supposed to be black surrounding the glass, but really, it doesn't matter - if someone knows the original that well, the biggest tell by faaar will still be the movement, so you're still screwed if he or she looks at the back of the watch... Cheers! Pedro
  10. They come in different variations. This, by the way, goes for almost any Big Bang, since you can have it custom made just the way you want it! Cheers, Pedro
  11. Welcome to the board, and to the wonderful world of reps! I've had my two HBB's for quite some time, and no issues so far with movements or anything . If you're planning on wearing it often, I suggest you take it to your local watchsmith and have the movement oiled and serviced. They come un-oiled from the factory, so it's a worthwhile investment - it also makes the watch run much quieter and the rotor wind much more smoothly. As far as looks go - prepare, because a lot of people will notice it. It's an extremely cool watch, but it's certainly not wearable in formal occasions... That's my two cents! Good luck with your purchases, and yet again welcome to a fantastic hobby Cheers, Pedro
  12. As someone just stated, I'd take this over any Sub any day!
  13. Are you in the process of ordering from him? Any hint by the way, as to where you found this guy? Cheers! Johnny
  14. Congrats on a very nice piece sql! I have the exact same one coming in this week, can't wait Cheers! Pedro
  15. Hm, that seems almost too good to be true. Do you know where this dealer is based? Cheers! pedro
  16. Problems Let's hope it's worth the wait!
  17. Any updates on this? Awaiting most eagerly... Cheers!
  18. Nope, not as far as I'm concerned! But it sure does look nice!
  19. Thanks for an excellent review! The watch looks -awesome- in motion! Cheers! Pedro
  20. Definately fake. Reported.
  21. Congratulations Stephane, that is just an -awesome- watch! Looks to be extremely close to the original.
  22. WOW! Thanks for sharing. Personally, I think this is by far the coolest costeau. Very sporty, yet subtle. As someone said earlier though; I hope the rep makers correct some of the earlier CD issues, because they were quite a few
