  2. So my beloved Pan Bronzo is beginning to give me problems. I had it serviced a number of months back and until recently it has been running perfectly. The last few days however, it has stopped during the night and today it has stopped on me several times. I know it is a modified A7750 movement, so my questions are: 1. Do you think it can be cured with another service? Is it worth trying? 2. Is there a different movement I could search for and replace with that would be more reliable? I'm not concerned about the decorative elements to the movement, even though its a display back..... I would need to find a movement then have a local watchsmith do the replacing, as I'm certainly no capable of doing it myself. Any advice would be welcomed and appreciated! Paul C
  3. Well, while there are obviously no guarantees of water resistance in the rep world, I believe that current offerings are not bad at all. Depending on model of course. I have 16 watches and have not hesitated to get any of them wet. Shower, pool, recreational swimming. No real diving. Not a single water related failure to date. My advice...... Be more careful with chronos. Don't worry about rep divers, but also don't do any serious diving with them. Lastly, remember Murphy's Law! [emoji6]

  5. I'm feeling so much better after reading this thread! I thought I was crazy with 16 watches.........
  6. Being new, your payment options with some TD's will be limited. Most of them do accept PayPal, but often only after some history with them, via WU. They can be scammed by unscrupulous buyers fairly easily. You light also inquire about using a CC.
  7. Again for today! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. That's really unfair. I have purchased many watches from Andrew. One had a problem and he addressed and dealt with me quickly and efficiently. I did send it back and while it took a long time in total, it all worked out fine in the end. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Local option is preferred for sure. For the extra $$$$, it'll be well worth it. Shipping them back to China will cost you in both $$$ and time. I shipped one back the Andrew. From the USA, international priority cost me almost $50 and I waited almost 10 weeks to get the watch back. It worked out for me in the end though. I would use a local guy next time myself. Expect it to cost about $100-$150/watch for someone to look at them.
  10. Uhhhh........ Don't expect this to happen. If you cannot have it looked at locally, Andrew will ask for it back to be repaired. He will NOT ship you a new watch first!
  11. These guys have 100% seller ratings over many transactions. Are they maybe oblivious to the fact their watch may be a rep?
  12. SA Blacksteel on new black/red Migliore strap! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. $40 is money well spent if you're going to dunk your rep regularly............
  14. Never even thought about a black strap for mine. It looks fantastic!
  15. I'd be looking for something that hasn't been repped with great accuracy. Like a Blue Dial Seawolf?
  16. U-Boat U-42 with new Migliore Black/Blue strap! Liking the combo much better than the brown strap that came with it.......
  17. Last day. Due for a change tonight!!! [emoji12] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
