It's impossible to tell if you are being too picky if we don't have access to the QC pics. There will always be issues with a $250 rep of a $10,000+ watch. In the end, you'll have to decide what issues you can live with, then decide whether tor not the rep in question is something you can deal with or not.
I'm always amused by concerns about the bezel turning concerns. I doubt any of us rely on our reps for diving. [emoji15]
I can't remember the last time I actually turned a bezel on one of mine, unless it was to realign it after accidentally turning it.

I just happen to fall in the same category as MoaB. While I would love to be able to construct my own Franken, I'm well aware of my shortcomings. Not a smidgen of patience. Poor eyesight. Lousy attention to detail.
At least I know it and admit it. Watchmaking is just not in my DNA.

Nice looking piece! I note that your wish list is all chronos. Consider having them serviced as the A7750 can be troublesome...... Even then, treat them carefully. Do some research on the movement use and care in these forums....
New baseball glove strap from thestrapsmith.com on my beloved Bronzo! I'm gonna have a thought time taking it off to send it out for service. [emoji15]

I see nothing wrong with posting QC photos. Dealers would prefer you don't so they can slip flaws by you more easily. None will cut you off for posting the shots.
Really no different than building most anything.... If you were to hand-build a vintage automobile, buying parts one at a time, you would never recoup the cost in it's resale value.
