Yea It totally sucks when all someone has to do is let people know they are around and working on things to give piece of mind. Especially when they take payments up front. Change straps any more than one, and the screws will fall out of the back without loctite I have gone through two of them now. Tell us more about the strap treatment.

100 percent. My last 3 have had problems. i cannot get a 380 that the screws do not fall out of and my last two luminor reps have had movement issues.

As i said from day one with this guy and will say it again...... This guy is bad news. This will be another K2222. He will leave the forums with outstanding parts, money and projects. Mark my word. I'm sure he will insult me for saying this but why are people waiting 6-8 months with no communication? How is that even defendable? Anyone else would be banned for just one instance of that.

While that recipe is the best, I wore a gen 232 for about a year daily. I got my buddy at work that watch discussed above on CM and every time I see it. It looks just bad, no way around it. I wish there was a good rep too!

Why is there a huge white ring by the inner bezel rehaut down to the dial? It looks very bad. It could be an optical illusion but the the gen does not have this.

It looks to me like the 005k Which is to be expected. Crystal clarity is ok. The problem with the H factory crystals to me is while the color(this one is a green/yellow but fairly netrual) is ok the anti reflective properties are almost nothing. Its just a tinted second reflection slightly subdued. I have a 111j crystal with chief AR on the inside. That watch has a minor blue green tint on the refection but the reflection itself is almost nothing so it pops more.

Very impressive. There are so few Pam photos that really look gen. This watch is one of those few that just looks not only gen but the reason gens look better than reps and that is the design choices that make them special, in this case the finish of the PVD and the texture of the dial working together to give an amazing look.

When I see a ballpark number of the profit he made off this forum( a non sales forum) we can begin to discuss entitlement. Even at 10 percent his profits would be thousands of dollars. We as paying members should be entitled to an iwc discussion forum without sales posts. He said he was no longer making ports not all frankens. He has very recently shilled other forums with new parts. Would I be "entitled" to say anything in a sales forum where communication was good and the complaints of poor workmanship were not mounting daily? Probably not.

Remember when this was the iwc forum to go to in the rep world? Pugwash photo posts, The Zigmeister modded aquatimers, top gun gen comparison threads...... Etc etc. First it turned into a sales forum for concepta. Now it's a wasteland for all the people who's pms the guy won't answer. I hear more and more about deals gone wrong. When does this end?

I have not seen anyone really capture the gen look of the dials. The problem is getting the dial matte and not grayish. Most builds I see are either shiny black or matt grey.
