  1. I haven't tried to fit a crown tube to my 6263 yet, but if the DW case is the same as all the others I have done (including MBW) then you have to re-tap the thread with a 3mm 0.2 pitch tap. They are not easy to get hold of. Be careful you don't break the tube as they are quite fragile.
  2. You want to clean your camera lens. It's all steamed up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. No you are absolutely right Randy. If you really wanted to be minutely picky about the dial (although tons of gen 6263's have re-dials anyhow) there isn't anything more cosmetic to do than the crown and tube. There are certainly no CG's to file down!!!!!!!!!! I do need some 571 end links for mine, though, as they are coming out with ground down 580's which are crap. I have also ordered a gen T21 crystal and some gen springbars and that will probably do for now. I will see how the movement lasts before trying to fit a V23. But yes you are right Randy overall a spectacular rep.
  4. And................The rest of the chrono functions on this movement are crap. So if you manage to get one either stick in a V23 or just don't use them!!!!!!
  5. So I guess you won't buy anything else from him? If that's the case he's lost a customer.
  6. Mmmmm. That's funny Randy. So will I!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Nobody going to comment? Missed this? Is DW back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Thinking of a few up and coming projects and looking for the best Rolex re-dialler. Any ideas? I have looked at some of Michaels re-dials but I am not convinced they are accurate enough. Is there any better?
  9. Well the guy can't say fairer than that. But 2mm what the ****!!!
  10. It's easier to understand Japanese!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Like your photography Pismo. How did you get such a close shot of the crown etching?
  12. I have a black arabic version in 3-6-9 and I think apart from the recessed and wrong date font it's a very accurate replica. I got mine from Joshua who was a pleasure to deal with. I have also had absolutley no problems with the movement and use the chrono constantly.
  13. Nice post Joe. We just need to be careful when removing the stem we don't push the release pin too hard. Use the right size screwdriver = 1.2mm
  14. Great post Randy. The DW is one fantastic piece. Can't wait!! How do you swap the bezels?
  15. How the hell have you 154 posts? Don't you sleep in Aus?
  16. I don't think it's Nais, do you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let's have an update.
