  1. All of his listings have been removed by Ebay.
  2. Well, of course, I meant the new graphics, but you know that.
  3. I don't know TTK, except for his reputation as a reputable, if somewhat controversial, dealer. However, I fully agree with him on this subject. Continuing to post on a site like RWG 1 contributes toward giving it an illusion of credibility it doesn't really have. I did this and I'm sorry. I got a rude awakening, and I suppose I deserved it.
  4. Yes, I reluctantly have to agree with everything said on this thread about the old RWG. I continued to post there until today because I felt that the more replica watch sites we had the better and I liked their graphics. It was stupid of me, and I won't do it again. With the exception of Demsey, who is apparently a highly intelligent person and a gentleman, and perhaps a few others, there are some real vulgarians over there. I was verbally assaulted in the most adolescent manner conceivable by a cretin going under the name of Johnboy777, apparently because I suggested that the reputable dealer they are promoting over there has some very high prices. Demsey tried to intervene in a calm, witty manner, but I'm afraid that what he is doing is encouraging the morons who seem to dominate the site. In any event, they rarely have more than eight or nine members participating at any time and will hopefully soon shut down.
  5. Yes, I felt shock and loss at Ed Bradley's death. I had the pleasure of meeting him twice; once was at the circus in Amsterdam, Holland and the second time was at an Asian art fair in the 67th Street armory in NYC. He handled the burden of celebrity with grace. He was easy to talk to and apparently didn't mind taking time to engage in conversation with anonymous fans.
  6. It's not at all surprising that many people on the internet have advanced degrees. I have a Ph. D. The more educated people are, the more likely they are to have broad internet surfing interests and skills. I am 76 years old. Only one of my frinds (outside the academic world) uses a computer, and he is a retired physician.
  7. Thanks all for the thoughtful advice. I really appreciate it. I wish there was a forum like this for other items that I buy!
  8. The question is whether or not it's exactly the same watch. It seems exorbitant to pay a $124 service charge on a $209 item.
  9. I was about to order a Breitling Seawolf ETA for $308 plus a $25 shipping charge on Joshua's Perfect Clones web site when I made a quick check with Paul's Wo-Mart site and found the same model for $209 postpaid. The question is are these watches identical or is there a quality difference between Joshua's Seawolf and Paul's. I realize that with Joshua I would get better communication and probably speedier delivery, but would this justify a price difference of $124?
  10. And if you look at the buyer's Feedback, you'll see that on August 1st he bought another of these Double Eagle watches from what is supposedly a different seller. There seems to be some kind of complicated scam going on here.
  11. It's remarkable how he moves from one site to another and even more remarkable that people manage to keep up with him.
  12. It seems that Paul's site is down again. All I get is an E-mail address.
  13. I have a Chronoswiss Tourbillon from Eddie Lee. It keeps excellent time and cost $599.
  14. Well, he certanly keeps changing E-mail addresses! Nevertheless, messages sent to the Yahoo address have not been returned to me.
  15. I realize it's an old story. Like many others, I sent Big Red Joe (Joe Butts) a watch for repair about four months ago. When I learned he was ill and overwhelmed with orders, I refrained from complaints, although he was apparently well enough to engage in spirited debates on a number of replica watch boards with members who were accusing him of various scams. Now I no longer hear from him or about him. He does not reply to polite E-mails I have sent asking him to return my wife's Yachtmaster if he is not in a position to repair it. Is anyone else still having similar experiences with Joe?
  16. If you look at the feedback of the supposed buyer of the first Seamaster and clck on his last two successful bids before this, you will see that he doesn't actually buy these watches. There are fake buys as well as fake sells on Ebay!
  17. Does anyone know why the Aspire Eshop site is down?
  18. I don't know the laws governing imports of replicas into the UK, but I'm not aware of doing anything illegal when I buy a replica in the USA. None of my Papal details are on RWG, so I don't see how anyone can access them because I post on that site.
  19. There's a great deal of elaborate and very fine reasoning here, but the bottom line is that people who sell for $1,000 what many other people are selling for $200 and advertise that they are offering bargains are ripoff artists pure and simple—end of story.
  20. My Santos 100 TT from Paul doesn't have blue hands.
  21. Where could I get a black rubber strap for a Pam 005 pvd?
  22. Apparently it did help. The watch was pulled! This should be posted in Auction Scams.
  23. Well, he met his match. He sold to someone who has a record of buying expensive watches on E-bay and not paying for them.
  24. Apparently nobody knows what "Presents for Readers" means, although it's a very curious phrase, isn't it. Anyway, how does this watch compare to the Chronoswiss Tourbillon that Eddielee and Paul offer for about $600?
