  5. welcome back to the madness. the new rolex dssd is all the hype right now (good and bad). happy holidays!
  6. i posted this same topic last december (see link here). It's funny what difference a year makes ... and this post doesn't even include the many reps and gens that i bought and sold this year. lol. as some of you may or may not know, i like to keep my collection to around six watches that i wear regularly. i like the notion that if they're not being worn, then someone else might as well be enjoying them. from last years post i have three of the same watches. since they lasted the year, i assume these will be keepers. "having said that" (curb your enthusiasm), who knows what next year will bring? now, on to the pictures! i apologize in advance for the quality, i was too lazy to break out the photo studio ... my current collection rep audemars piguet rose gold rubberclad (v2), traveling to the zigmeister this month rep breitling skyland blacksteel (v2) on oem rubber, fully modded by the zigmeister rep iwc big pilot 5004 (v1) on oem gator, traveling to vaccum next month gen omega planet ocean gen panerai 091 rep rolex deepsea sea-dweller (ultimate), traveling to the zigmeister this month i always enjoy seeing what everyone else has and hope you enjoyed seeing my final collection for 2009. till next december ... thank you rwg!
  7. very nice! here's my second wrist check post for the day and what i'll be wearing over the weekend. my ultimate dssd arrived yesterday from king. i am not normally a fan of rolex (mainly because of the small size) but thanks to lani's review, i decided to give this one a shot. i'm glad i did ... it's a beast and i'm very happy with it!
  8. 100% positive feedback in 265 transactions ... i'd say you missed a diamond in the rough there. but don't worry ... the pain will subside and you'll find a better deal out there. keep your head up and your stick on the ice.
  9. one of my favorites. glad to hear it's holding up!

  13. call me immature, but the word "girth" always makes me laugh. thanks for posting this lani ... it took a while for me to figure it out. all the best!
  14. now here's a blast from the past. lol.
  15. very nice trio. i had a few at one time as well ...
  16. +1. and it's the best looking all black watch out ther imo. i've had mine fully serviced from The Zigmeister and added a genuine rubber strap (top left in picture below). it's a beauty!
  17. breaking news: tiger has decided to change his name ... to cheetah.
  18. nothing beats the real thing. congratulations. p.s. i love the design of that outer box ... very cool.
  19. how many times she hit him. She said "I don't know exactly ... put me down for a 5."
  20. thanks for posting lani. mine is arriving tomorrow along with one of the 45mm nardins ... can't wait.
  21. well let me first state that this was not vac's fault. my package was tracked all along until one day it just stopped. after a few days idle, i started to inquire and they finally agreed that the package had gone missing and could offer me nothing as there was no insurance on the package. vac has offered to redo the work for me at no charge, but it was obviously a very disppointing day. the only bright side is that i removed my oem big pilot strap before i shipped it out. anyway, this is the first time i've had a package go missing but insurance would not be a bad idea. all the best. update on january 7th, 2010 ... unbelievably it arrived today! it was shipped on november 7th and arrived exactly two months later. wow. vac was as happy as i was to hear the news. happy new year!
  22. this month usps lost my iwc big pilot 5004 on it's way back from complete modification (cheif ar, vac datewheel, lume, etc.). i am so bummed as i've been waiting six months for this project to be complete. the worst part is that the shipping was only about 200 miles within florida (kathleen to fort lauderdale). anyway, i'll keep my fingers crossed for an outcome like yours ... thanks for posting!
  23. i love christams time. thanks for getting us in the spirit gio!
  24. franken put together by stilty. all genuine except for the crystal, hands and brand new 2892-a2 movement ...
