His charge is usually a flat rate of $28US for orders of up to 2 watches.. i think 5 or 10 additional bucks for each additional watch.

Great restaurants in paris. Depends completely on what you want. If you're looking for food.. then paris is a GREATTT place with lots of diverse restaurants and cultures. I lived in paris for 2 years and one of my favorite places was a small couscous place near montparnasse.. between Metro Raspail and Vavin. A great little obscure place that's a secret underground HIT among lots of parisians (even a few famous ones too). The entire restaurant is about 10 tables big and Lilianne has been the server/owner for over 30 years or something. I'll be back with the name of the restaurant as soon as I call my friend who knows the restaurant well. Apart from that.. if you're looking for a great FRENCH restaurant with good prices and great food. "Le Petit Chatelet". Right next to Fontaine St. Michel in the 5ieme along the seine. I believe it's near Rue de la Bucherie. It's got a terrace, and wonderful atmosphere... although it can be a bit more touristy from time to time. -
Now that's something.. the pipoca in Rio is nothing compared to the palomitas in cine Yelmo in spain... What smells better Vbarrett? Pipocas or your famous micky d's healthy hashbrowns? (recently featured in a pictorial of yours). i was just thinking while looking at that pic.. DON'T STAIN that strap with Mckey D grease!

which rep is the closest to its gen?
plaifender replied to fivefive's topic in Introduction/Rules/Support
I tried out a Genuine about 2 weeks ago in the Corte Ingles department store here in Madrid. GREAT watch. the rep is equal in every way in terms of feel, weight and construction.. at least to the layman. -
Would be interesting Giorgio.. especially since no one here seems to have any personal experience with this cheap version EVO... But I chose a Gucci women's watch for my "Freebie" from Silix. A little something for the LADY! :-)

Jay(silix) told me that all of the new ETA SFSO come from the same factory. I think his price for the Swiss ETA is about $280. He has the asian for $100. His site is not updated.. and although it's not listed he has the SWISS ETA and the asian 21j (white dial). His site only lists the 21j blue and black dials. His prices seem to continue to be the best around. He's my dealer of choice. Although he took 4 weeks to deliver my last order.. he made up for it by throwing in a free ROLEX box.

Just to make things clear, I was not planning on buying this watch. The EVO is great, but for me it's much more worth it to buy silix's ASFSO for 100bucks (i'm looking for cheap right now). My real question was only concerning whether or not anyone has this EVO or any first-hand experience with it.

How can the subdials move if there is no chrono graph? I'm confuse by what you mean.. Clearly the subs are painted.. but i was thinking that they were probably glued or locked into a specific position that cannot be changed. Does the long chrono seconds hand move or stay in the 7o'clock position like the photo?

Thoughts about legal or illegal, and marketing possibilities
plaifender replied to wjlamp's topic in The Panerai Area
I agree with you and see your point. But I honestly think that part of the reason we hold these watch brands so close and dear to us, is their exclusivity. I can't know for sure, but i'm sure if every 4th person on the street was wearing a panerai, chopard, or Audemars Piguet in the world, i wouldn't have the same desire to own the watches I do. There's something special about being unique and setting yourself apart from others... Unfortunately in order to make exclusivity.. the prices of any given product has to be relatively high. That being said.. just my 2cents -
Haha.. i love it. McDonald's heart cloggin hashbrowns with the Fiddy! classic.. yet somehow disgusting... haha I'm sportin my Silix Yachtie today. Sun is out in Madrid, and people need some bling-shine in their faces...

Browsing watchsilix.com last night and saw that he has some chronomat EVO 21js for $62. Anyone have one of these? What's the quality like? Also it says working subdials... I thought that Asian 21js were not chrono movements... I was expecting the subdials on this watch to be non-functioning.. but it says they function... Does anyone have experience with this watch? here's a link: http://www.watchsilix.com/product.asp?id=1898

I also agree wtih you. At no point since lanikai joined the discussion, has anyone mentioned the sad part about all of this being the main factor in Flav quitting his business. Although lanikai, has lamented and said that he doesn't want to involve anyone else.. it kind of involves everyone who has, or will have done mod work through Flav.... I've never gotten any mods, but flav was on the top of my list for the first one.... sniff sniff

Sounds too good to be true... Who's gonna be the guinea pig? I don't see how an Planet Ocean chrono can cost only 100bucks. Also.. if you click on the watch.. you have 4 different movement options as well as laser serial number options for additional prices... I was pretty sure that the versions of this watch were pretty fixed, and are not soo easily customizable... WHO'S gonna guinea pig!???

Don't have my camera with me now.. so bare with me on the discription. I looked down at my wrist today and saw that my CG lever was open on my pam. When i put the lever back to the in position it didn't click like it should..... after further evaluation i noticed that the screw that fastens the crown gaurd was missing. The lever is in tact and dandy, but the CG has NO SCREW!!! What should i do? I did some searching on here, but couldn't find any hits. Does anyone know if this is a easy fix for any normal dealer, or will i have to locate a genuine panerai screw? The watch is only 2 weeks old.. If this isn't fixable by any watch repair shop, should I just email Angel & Jay to see if they can send me a new watch? If ANYONE has experienced this please EMAIL me with your experience, since I won't be able to access the forum for another two days.... my email is ryancturner@gmail.com. Thanks in advance. -ry
