it'd be "terrorism"

true.. but i was thinking more along the lines of one of the "oh-so-popular" Lust Murder and Consentual Homicide webgroups on MSN.. much less conspicuous... point taken can't we start using code words to describe our "watches".. like the word for watch could be "knife" or "scalpel" . Breitling could be "cuffs", Panerai could be "addiction" and ROLEX could be "NEEDLE" and the word REP could be "whip".. of course.. "leather" would stay "leather"

ok, so here goes: I've been on this board roughly about 3 or 4 months.. the amount of knowledge i've learned has obviously increased 10 fold since day one visiting here. I too am guilty of not YET contributing to the "board fund", but have my reasons. Not ethical, not political and not moral. I'm very in aggreeance with mezzanine in that knowing where my money is going would be a great thing and easy way for people to gauge the value of their dollars put into the site. About 5 years ago I was a very active member of a Forum to which I paid money after my first year of being there as well as t-shirt for the forum's appreciation to its paying members. The admin never asked for money though. I must admit that i'm rather clueless when it comes to "server fees", "bandwith allocation" etc. etc... but from my experience in the past forum it seemed that advertisements on the forum were more than enough to pay the cost of site... The truth is that this forum could exist on any server, anywhere and for free. We could all start an MSN community and do the same thing there that we're doing here.. but we all have chosen this site. I'm quasi sure(if my rep interest doesn't fade) i'll be donating in the future but for right now, "this just keeps on getting better".

Really? It seems that the 3717 would be the way to go. Your love for panerai and the bigger watches you tend to wear, would make me think that the smaller flieger would be less your taste. Although the spitfire is available in the nice classy whiteface. I think it's less than 40mm if i remember, or at 40. The 3717 although a bit more "beefy" in my opinion is definitely on my want list! Choose well!
-
personally i love the 3717! But come on miss V! you have to know that the Big Pilot just screams your name!! I want a picture of you in the benz.. big pilot on your wrist and hashbrown in your hand. For real though... I can just see one of those babies on your wrist!

please use the search function!! You'll have to email Jay at Silix-prime before ordering. He'll give you his info and also confirm your order which you'll have to pay Via PayPal. The website is not used to actually purchase the watch, basically only as a platform for Jay to display the watches he has in stock. (but ask if you want something you don't see.. usually he can get his hands on it) -ryan

Hey Ryyannon, the name of the REstaurant is La Table de Fes, en Rue Saint Beuve. between Vavin and Notre Dame Metro. The name of the woman that owns it is Lillianne I believe... Check it out.. it's the best couscous in town. You should tell her that you're a friend of a friend of Fahda. She appreciates friend reccomendations more than walkins -
SSURFER, you know if its possible to buy screws without going through Jay? Is it that hard to source these parts?!!?
-
yeah I lost the original screw. Jay knew which model I had, so it seems weird that he'd send screws that aren't long enough....
-
dear panerai gods, So about a week ago, the cg screw under the lever fell out. I emailed Jay about it, and he sent me some new CG screws and a screwdriver to fix my watch. I tried to screw the cg in last night, but unfortunately the screws that jay sent me are about .5mm to short. As a result they don't catch thread when I'm turning the screwdriver. Jay at Silix emailed me saying that it seemed strange that the screws wouldn't fit but that he would try to find longer ones for me but . Am I doing something wrong here? I figured all Panerai CG screws would be the same. are the Screws on my Pam253 different than other models? Any comments and/or suggestions would be great. I miss wearing this watch!!

I'm guessing 100% genuine CHOPARD. notice the chopard tirepressure gauge and limited edition box that accompany his watch. The watch looks great.. but what the f is up with that jerkiness!? -

Chopard MM GTXL on a Stingray Strap *take a look*
plaifender replied to Daytona4me's topic in Other Brands Area
looks unique and very interesting.. I think the strap just looks a little bit too fishy/insect/arthropodian for me to get into it. It looks like it'd feel slimy or something... i guess i'm just not a fan. Really unique though! It's real Stingray skin? -

Good advice.. didn't know that you had one of these ones. by the way.. my noviceness comes out again: what is a YG? p.s. wouldn't say that hublot is huge here. Only 3 stores in barrio salamanca have Hublots and i've never seen anyone with a big bang here in my life.. the madrile

p.s. stephane.. i'm assuming this issue is already taken care of from the number of responses you've received.... parece ke hay mas gente hispanoparlantes ke pensaba aki en el foro..

sorry V.. i know i already said that i wouldn't correct your languages.... ma il tuo italiano ha influenzato un po troppo il tuo messagio spagnolo!! CUANDO is correct in spanish.. not QUANDO
-
already done that jkarpas... trying a watch on at the dealer is not the same as wearing it everyday and getting a real feel for how you like it. But you do have a point.. they don't look NEARLY as good as the ceramic reps.... I might just bite the bullet in 3 months or so then...

I thought we were in the off-topic forum?? I agree with post flaming.. but the original post seems to be legit as per the forum rules...

Mercury....eh? I've always been told that chuck norris had pure Texan, crude oil running through those karate chop veins of his. wilder than the wildest stallion, and more explosive than dolly parton's hair on a concert day. HIIIIIIIYAH!
