  1. sweet that it worked out!
  2. almost exactly the same.. but trevor's is about $150 less, and also has better (NOT MORE ACCURATE) "OGEV" engraving
  3. update guys.. heard back from my guy.. Not sure why factories have been giving us such ridiculous quotes to get this made. Paulw's sample mineral crystal is floating around still and going to another factory for a hopefully better quote... As always.. I'll keep you all updated. Who knew it would take this long to get a f-ing dome sapphire crystal made! Stay tuned!

  5. I believe he's out. Narikaa only tends to get a few once or twice a year when he travels to asia. They usually last about 2 or 3 weeks on the forum before they're sold out. He's pretty much got the only 42mm version worth buying.. and it happens to be priced excellently at around $100usd @Dougheffernan: The 4th gen is obviously the most famous version produced to date.. but has been out of supply for over a year now. You won't be able to find one, so I'd reccomend contacting narikaa and checking with him to see when he'll have some more of his "Porikaa" 42mm models in the future.... my .02
  6. congrats JK!
  7. could be a host of things. it's a 21j.. maybe you'd consider getting a new 21j movement for the watch. I'd open it up and see if it looks dry or not.
  8. ps. The blackness on the capecod cloth has nothing to do with how "clean/unclean or oxidized" your watch is. You could take this cloth to a stainless steel pot straight out of the factory and stil get the cloth pitch black. It's a chemical reaction caused by mineral oils in the cloth reacting with the steel. Take a cape cod cloth to a high polished brand new fork.. and you'll see the same amuont of blackness as if you had taken the cloth to a 40 year old vintage rolex...
  9. Thanks for the responses guys!
  10. it's as simple as holding both versions in your hands. You can definitely see the difference. Even if you're an avid capecod user like me and jkay... my 316f dssd was noticeably brighter than my 316L dssd. Obviously its difficult to tell with all the photos here.. but to see both watches next to eachother in your hands tells you that there is an obvious difference in the type of steel used. Whether or not the steel is truly 316f or not is another question.. but visually the difference can be seen when physically compared side by side.
  11. Hey guys, I have a friend that has been trying to contact Josh using the email addresses that I provided him. I haven't bought from Josh in a couple years so maybe his email has changed. These are the 3 addresses that I have for Josh: watchcentre@gmail.com, admin@perfect-hour.com, admin@perfect-clones.com. Anyone know if has any other emails that I'm not aware of? My friend lives in Switzerland and is very anxious to buy. I told him that he should wait to hear from Josh before ordering and risking shipping to Switzerland. He wants to use Josh's automated online checkout, but I wouldn't buy from any of our dealers without first contacting them directly to ask about availability etc. let me know if you guys know any other ways my friend can get in contact with josh. Thanks! -Fender
  12. big congrats on your marriage! pretty awesome theme!
  13. Yes, in theory this is still on. We sent the sample crystal to a crystal maker for an estimate and have not heard back from them. I just sent them an email. This is the longest process ever but as far as I
  14. Hey guys, I have a good friend that is ready to bite the bullet on his first rep. He
  15. there is only one version of this watch. Anyone that has this watch will be giving you this version. So it's not a question of "WHO" has the best version....
  16. a gen dial wouldn't work on this watch unless you found a gen movement as well with date at 6 o'clock....
  17. guess no one's interested. I guess it is a little pricey for a non-oem crystal though
  18. really nice! beautiful wristie
  19. good work, I'd leave it as is.. as these differences of .5mm in bezel height, etc, don't matter structurally and are the kinds of things that feed our obsessive nature. The watch looks good and there's nothing that looks as if it's been poorly modified or worked on. Looks like it came right out of the rolex factory! Good job Scotty
  20. does your portuguese suffer from noisy rotor like many i've head of...?
  21. Hey guys, If anyone's interested, i just found this on the bay. I can't vouch for the seller but maybe someone here is interested in trying one out http://cgi.ebay.com/310227277451
  22. un saludo muy grande desde la madre patria...
