  6. It appears as if the tube has broken off inside of the crown threading.. regardless.. My question is whether or not the crown and tube are easily available and/or whether or not these parts on the SFSO are compatible with genuine parts and if so, is it easy to source a gen tube and crown for this rep?? p.s. the watch in question is a swiss fish
  7. takumee, was this issue resolved. I know that trevor has been on his honeymoon. If you haven't gotten your issue resolved I would contact trevor. I've spoken with him on behalf of a couple of other members and he appears to be rectifying a couple of their problems. Send me a pm with your email and I'll mention your issue as well to him. (if needed)
  8. any pics you can post stretch???
  9. congratulations on your wedding trevor!
  10. villa villa maravilla!!

  11. Hey guys, My dad has an SFSO that has a broken crown. Anyone have experience with this problem and whether or not it can be fixed easily. He bought the watch from andrew 2 years ago, so I'm sure andrew might not honor a repair on it. Besides.. i hate sending watches back to china! Anyone with any experience on steelfish crowns that could provide me with some insight on how to get this fixed??? thanks again! -Fender
  12. welcome aboard mate! You've reached the best watch forum on the planet. Start reading and then start buying!
  13. i say go for the eta and get it serviced.. you'd service it anyways.. and it should last you for years to come with a good service
  14. yeah the AAA thing is a really common sticker on this rep for some reason!
  15. congrats! good choice!
  16. I'm not a navi expert at all. .but looks beautiful!
  17. That's a V5 Ultimate. Similar if not the same as what Josh and Andrew offer. Nice watch. I got a very similar one from Trevortime. His prices beat everyone else around.. His watch is the same with a little better and bolder engraving on the ring lock. He sells the ETA 2836 for $250usd. Unfortunately, lately he seems to be kinda shoddy on the qc from what a couple members here have expressed... My experience with him was great, but I'd get in contact with him and show his some photos of the EXACT watch you're interested in, so that he can double make sure that he has it. I'm a huge fan of him and his prices and of his customer service.. but I realize that not everyone has had such a flawless experience with him. I'm hoping as time goes on he'll prove himself to everyone as he's proven to me
  18. Spain beats Paraguay and Nadal wins Wimbledon... Spain is kicking ass...

  19. If you're gonna be around water, with sweaty wet wrists and baking in the sun... this is the watch for you: It's freakin beastly. It's radio-atomic synchronized, and solar powered, so you never have to replace the battery. On a full charge the battery lasts for 9 months without any sunlight! The watch has a tide meter, moon phase, multiple time zone, automatic DST and up to 5 alarms. It also synchronizes itself automatically with one of 6 or 7 atomic radio transmission points across the globe. I've never been a fan of G-shocks till I saw this blacked out model with the screws... it was named number 8 on Time Magazine's list of top ten gadgets of 2009 paired with my other black beast.. The Skyland Blacksteel: with the DSSD: Really similar size to the skyland Blacksteel: Six atomic radio bands.. for being perfectly in sync: Lume is pretty cool and can be set to sense your body movement and automatically light up when the watch is moved and tilted to a "watch glance" position towards the wearers face (of course it has a light sensor that will allow this to happen only when it's in a dark environment): It's got wrist stabilizer straps to keep the watch centered on your wrist: The wrist shot: A true beater watch. You guys should see some of the tests they put these g-shocks through!
  20. Hey Maars, I sawa the post yesterday but was a little tired! The picture of the watch you posted is not of a new model.. In fact, it's a picture of the V1.. the very first version to come out of this watch.. way back in late 2006. It does have a better shaped crown gaurd.. and better colored needle. But the minute markers are incorrect, the genuine minute markers are on a seperate ring piece that is inlaid onto the hobnail dial. The v2, v3 and "v4" are closer to original in that respect. (although not perfect). The V1 also lacks 120 minute markers. The original and later version reps mark half seconds whereas the V1 only has 60 hash marks when it should have 120. In general not worth the errors to purchase (that IS.. if you can find it. in general this watch is difficult to find.) The only plus about the V1 would be the supposed Sapphire crystal it has, but I still have never seen any proof of it, but it's been said that it's the only version with real Sapphire.....
