  1. My Paul Picot ran like that. So does my seconds at nine gold Daytona.
  2. You'll enjoy the Exp II. I found it a tad too small for me so I sold it.
  3. The Watcheden watch is a V3. I recommend a V3 with the Asian ETA clone. Or, if you're on a tight budget, the 21J version appears to be the same as the ETA-clone version. Although the bezel font on the V3 is a tad thin, it's still a much better rep overall. V2 had a couple of other problems. I believe the clasp was one. Some guys say it pops open on its own. Here is my V3 next to the GMT-II C. Bezel font does not look to thin here, IMO. (It's not supposed to be as thick as the GMT.)
  4. Who knows? Who knows if it's even really in the works? And as I said, it'll have some flaw because, well, it's just a Chinese toy!
  5. Smooth bezel. V3 #'s are a tad too thin, V2 too thick. Plus V2 had other problems. "V4" is rumored to be in the works. Supposed to have a thicker bezel font and fix some other nitpicking detail. But
  6. A fine replica indeed! Got mine from Jackie Chen:

  8. Polished steel is bling! You guys are way too conservative.
  9. My last Breitling gets the nod today:
  10. Johntheboy isn't "Johnnieboy," jf, from RWG1, is he? I'm so confused...
  11. Most comfortable: Followed closely by this one: Really, any of the 36-40mm rollies are very comfy. Least is this one: But I still wear it as often as possible! Followed by this one: Big Bang King. I need "inbetweener" holes punched. I wear this one less now that I have the Deep Sea.
  12. It appears Josh and Andrew chose poor wording for their web site description. The Zigmeister pointed out a while ago that the movement already had 29J. The "improved" aspect of the movement was just the skeletalized gears. The wording on their sites implies the 29J feature was new.
  13. This fine watch does not get the wrist time it deserves.
  14. Welcome! You are seeking a fabulous watch! I have 4 Daytonas. 1 is a fairly accurate replica but the other 3 are not. That doesn't bother me much, though, because they are such elegant watches. Ditto to the aforementioned advice. Read and learn. Daytona reps have issues so it's best you buy one fully informed of these issues.
  15. Welcome Hogan! Your English is better than my Swedish. Member Slicemaster, Swen, is also from Sweden. He has a nice collection of replicas. Apparently there's no problem getting them through customs there.
  16. Hi Dems, I got this from Silix for less than $200. It came on a lousy bracelet that began flaking at 2 months. The replacement was a significant upgrade and I've no issues whatsoever with it.
  17. You've had more than your fair share of bad luck with reps lately. I think it's because you have too many watches. You've tipped some cosmic scale and the universe it trying to tell you something.
  18. Never log onto any of the fora, that's the only solution.
