  1. Nothing bad about it. Too bad they do not teach multiple languages to us in the US. Welcome!
  2. That noob looks d@mn good. I'm in no position to be a judge, but those are some of the best looking lugholes i've ever seen. I'll stay tuned for more Steph, good luck with the project!
  3. "Wow, nice watch. What kind is that?" "frankenfrankenfranken."
  4. Nanuq. Seriously. Watch it, its a great movie. Maybe the guy really is a douche, who knows.
  5. Now you see what you do to us all the time.
  6. Nice comp. Ive been wanting to see this for a while too. Thanks, enjoy the new strap!
  7. Excellent review, thanks so much for sharing all your efforts. It looks really good on your wrist imo.
  8. If you want to spend $100, get the Yachty, if you wanna spend $300 get the SFSO ETA.
  9. lol you don't see that in the NY craigs list. Nanuq, have you seen the movie "into the wild"?
  10. Oh man, I think I burst a vein in my neck laughing at that. Shackdweller! It would be a tudor model of course. If I was better at photoshop i'd have a play on this!
  11. on the 360, GTAIV or Forza2 get 90% of my gametime. I also dabbled a bit with the new R6 vegas 2, good game. COD4 was good but I bored with it about a month or two ago and havent played since.
  12. I lol'd. I'm male, thats my girlfriend in my avi. There's people on this board that are very generous. A friend that I made here, made an extremely kind gesture to upgrade my acct. I didn't even have to tickle his 's! Crazy Hawaiians. I stated in a prior thread like this (before I had supporter status) that next time I could afford to purchase another rep, I'd donate. I stated that I had been cash poor lately (my income was cut in half 12/07) and that plan made me feel better. If my idea made others feel better about it, they could consider the same approach. I looked into donating (still haven't bought another rep since my SFSO), wanted to throw $20 at the board at the least (again, prior to supporter) and saw the only option was for reoccuring payments. I had an extremely hard time getting this to stop at another forum I chose to support (see my prior post). That being said, I really think a "one time" sort've donation option should be considered here, I think it might bring more support than if left as it is currently. Seriously some of you guys need to realize you have way more cash to throw around then others, and these threads should be the responsibility of the mods and admins. Just my .02. No offense to the OP.
  13. Exactly. I had to file a cease and desist on a very large, popular forum to get them to finally stop charging my account. If I could make one time contributions here and there, i'd be much more apt to donate. Fortunately, I have a sugar daddy that donated for me. SEXY!
  14. Run Narikaa. As fast and far away as you can.
  15. This is why I tend not to do these. I dont wanna insult anyones piece. God knows theres 10 times more "tells" on my 16610 then yours. The first pic looked woky to me, just the angle I guess. Nice watch though, i'd be happy with it!
  16. I don't usually do these, as my eye isn't keen to the degree of most. but i'd like to venture a guess for ish and giggles... No sir. My rationale? I could make fried rice in that wok/rehaut. The guards are misshapen too, real or not FFS man, tidy up. No personal offense. I've got a wokked 16610. Pic of a engorged lazer etched crown at 6 would've helped my decision but I digress.
  17. Beautiful. Very artistic. Love this shot. You have the eye Pug. I'm sure the SLR (what DO you have?) doesn't hurt.
  18. Was it chicken, or did it taste just like chicken?
  19. Sorry UJ, I never saw the original question. Its the woman that took these photo's- my girlfriend. Man I should've. Could've made a gnome strap for the Pam? I used my German steel to protect my swiss/CN steel. Sorry about the rise blood pressure LD. TB and Iron, I agree! Thanks guys, glad you enjoyed.
  20. Thanks, thats my favorite shot she took. I've had the Tag for... going on a year now? I was in Mayor's the other day and was surprised to see they raised the price of the watch another $500. I got it off a friend shortly after he purchased it, and I'm glad I did! I went in to examine the Aquaracer and I was really unimpressed. Disappointing. But Tags got some other really nice stuff out, I love the new Carerra's. I don't entirely get the gnomes. I'm finding they are all over the house.
  21. Im liking those Pams steph & Laz. I've been wearing this for the past few days.
  22. Theres this small old school watchsmith shop in Tampa. You walk in and it looks, and smells like 1983. Any questions i've gone in there with, sends the older lady into the back to get the watchsmith (mom and son business?). I go in with my SS sub, ask him to grease it and pressure test it. I don't know if its because of the request to pressure test a rolex, or the wok but he immediately tells me it will fail the test. He tells me the test may ruin the watch, no reps are waterproof, all are junk, etc. He was talking me out of taking my money! Maybe he wanted to go back to changing batterys in the back? The watchsmith obviously has no respect for reps, yet, I look around his display cases and its filled with Ironmans and g-shocks from the 90's, etc. So here we both stand. Through no small effort of you all, Ive become a real watch snob. Any watch that beeps is sadistically hysterical to me. Im scoffing at his inventory in my head, and he's thinking I brought him a canal street POS. Anyways, I tell him not to worry about the pressure test (went elsewhere) and asked him to check the movement. I wanted to verify there was ETA in the house. He cracks it open and now here he is, interested in the watch. "this is ETA, these fakes are improving". He points out inside the caseback, it says 14k, or 10k whichever, another sign its fake, yet he is impressed that they movement looks so close, nickle ETA with the Rolex style rotor and purple gears. Watchsmiths are definately unique people.
  23. -Dont pay extra for waterproofing from the dealer. Take it someplace local, and do as Chronus stated. -Do check your caseback upon arrival. Many times they are loose enough to spin with your fingers. Search the forum for tape ball method.
