Thanks 4 the pics Giorgio.... the case looks indeed very nice (for a cheap Asian).... But when looking at the caseback of the automatic in question, I also would say it's definitely a gen. Or at least the case is.
I had the same problem with my uPO. Just bent the clasp fold a bit at the marked spot. The metal is pliable. Heat it up with a fan so you're absolutely sure it won't break. Bent it from 1-->2 with a cloth wrapped around a plier to avoid marks and scratches.
Good luck!

The gen strap is much nicer than the rep.. the gen screams quality. The rep strap has the markings stamped in, these will fade away after some wearing.... the gen strap on the other hand is branded (that's why the markings somehow look black)and the markings will not fade away.
Movement pics added on King's site... it shows a gen Rolex 3035... not a 3135 :cc_confused:
It's also available in a Seadweller but it does not look like the prototype we saw earlier.
Here is something I don't understand.. if Andrew and Josh are forced to sell the HBB at $1000 than what are they paying for these watches?..... $500? $600? $700? .... even $800?
I don't believe the wholesale price of this watch is that high... it's China for crying out loud.
Maybe the watchmaker increased the price from $10 to $210
I don't want to spoil anything but the gen doesn't have beveled sleeves... just checked the site. Also the BCE is supposed to have 5 seperate links...like a jig-saw and it makes it a hell to shorten the bracelet. This version also has the black hands instead of the ss/ chrome hands (if I'm not mistaking)....The only thing better on the rep pictured in this post are the nice rider tabs.
@CY0811
The 2nd gen BCE rep (with the AR) is still the ultimate BCE rep!
Well Mezzanine, I struggled with the same thing. I also liked the grey dial better but wasn't able to get descent pictures or info on the 2nd gen grey dial. That's why I went with the graphite... and I still don't regret it.
Could you give us some info and show us some pics when you receive the grey dialed version?
It's really difficult to capture the true colour of the dial and subdials as it changes every angle the light hits it.... let me tell you, it's perfect!
This is a 2nd generation graphite dial:
All the pics in this post are taken by me, directly from the 07 Breitling Chronolog.
Look at the date window. If I'm not mistaking the old 42mm Steelfish had the thicker date window frame but as we can see some 07 SOSF also have them.... left overs perhaps
Look at the two different pearls on the Evolution. Our BCE rep has the same pearl as the one on the second picture.
In my opinion it's almost impossible to get pointed out wearing one of these two super reps. You can always say that there are different versions.....
Cheers!
