Sure, grease the seals of the two pushers. Remove the movement. Push in the chrono pusher and you will see a tiny C-clip. Remove it and take out the pusher. You will see a small rubber gasket along the shaft.

Done. But it's time for a faster connection BT ......

Dear all, For the ones who don't know me. I'm a long time rep collector and enthousiast but the last couple of months I've been slowing down. The main reason is I don't like much of the new reps that are coming out. I hate the rubber straps so there goes the B&R, HBB, Picot, Porche etc. I own or owned pretty much all of the 'super' reps. So I know what makes a rep 'super' . I only try to buy reps that are as good as it gets out of the box. I don't like the reps that first need a lot of mods. After I first saw the Speedmaster date I didn't think much of it. But then I saw Lanikai's post of the three different dial versions and it got my attention. After some research on the web and visiting my local AD it kinda grew on me. Some members already pointed out some flaws (date font, caliber# on the rotor etc.) but to me, those flaws are neglectible. No one will ever notice... Overal I would say this watch can be classified as a 'super rep'. The construction is suberB and it has the two tell signs of a genuine Omega: - Serial# on the lug and - 'Omega planet' hallmark engraved on the case back. It also has single sided AR and all the other proper markings. The one thing I noticed on this rep was the solid crown, stem and tube assembly. Even with the crown pulled out there's no slack what so ever. It's also nice and heavy (160gr). I greased all the seals (crown, pushers and case back). I pressure tested it at 6 ATM with my self-made pressure tester (see 2nd page) so it's good for swimming. After some fine-tuning the movement runs almost spot on (+1 sec/ day). But don't let me bore you. I will let the pics speak for themselves . The overal finish is very good. Single sided blue AR (like the gen) Nice and thick case High quality engravements all over the watch. Perfectly etched/ engraved 'Omega planet' hallmark. A tell sign of a gen Omega (>2006?) Nice and clear serial# on the back side of the lug. The bracelet also has all the correct engravements and is nicely finished. Crisp clasp fold engravement. I don't know it the markings are correct though. Nice and deep engraved clasp (shuts and closes very well). No gap or other issues. Movement and rotor shot (Whilst I was greasing all the seals, so no camera set up) Inside of the case back, very detailed and crisp but again, no camera set-up so a little blurry. I hope you enjoyed the review. Before I forget.... Precious Time delivered this baby to me in 2 days. As you may already know Precious Time is my number one choise. No one can beat his quality and delivery time .

Why can't I remove the springbar on the 12 side of my SOSF?
Rolexman replied to Antonio's topic in The Breitling Area
I encountered the same thing with my BCE.... there's no trick. You need good quality tools and a lot of patience. The springbar is probably a little bit too wide. This is why you have to keep the springbar straight when removing it. As soon as one end is out the springbar will be longer at the other end. Try two springbar tools at the same time and move the bracelet straight up. PS: Be careful not to strip the springbar. The rep springbars are low quality and easily strip..... then all is lost. -
WTF? Sure there are some differences: script, clip, sharp rings etc. My uncle owns a gen Starwalker and let me tell you... NO ONE can tell the difference from 3 feet away! We are talking about 15 bucks for a nice MB rep (which takes gen refills with a slight mod BTW).....that's like 3 beers in a bar... I prefer the MB

How to: Make your rep Mont Blanc pen take genuine refill
Rolexman replied to Rolexman's topic in Watch Repair & Upgrade
After I opened up the hole with the cone*, I used a drill bit that exactly fitted the hole. Then I just wiggled it all the way around a bit. I had the Dremel at approxamitley 2000 RPM. This way you won't grind away too much too fast. When it's gone it's gone... better do it slow and step by step. Use trial and error. * It was standard with my Dremel. It really doesn't matter which one you use. As long as the tip fits the hole and the bottom doensn't. -
Dear all, Recently I purchased a beautifull MB Starwalker from Narikaa (as reviewed HERE). Because the rep insert was black and I prefer blue I bought a gen refill. But it didn't fit..... After a first investigation I noticed the overal length of both refills were the same but there is a difference in tip length and screw pattern. The gen refill didn't fit the holder piece (don't know what to call it). It just couldn't be screwed down. So my initial thought was that I needed to switch the crew piece from the rep to the gen, but after I removed the entire tip of the gen refill with a plier I came to the conlusion that it could be screwed in without any problems. So what was the problem? The tip! The tip on de rep in remarkeably thinner than the gen. So the holding piece was adapted to this thin refill tip. The hole was too narrow to get the gen tip through so I decided to do a mod. I drilled out the hole with a Dremel and the two pieces shown on the pic. After some trial and error the gen insert fits nice and snug It worked perfect on Narikaa's Starwalker. Don't know about other models or MBs from other dealers?...... Rep on top. See the difference in tip thickness? I first used the cone to open up the hole some what. Then drilled out the inner part. Be carefull not to damage the screw thread inside the holder piece. Only insert the drill max 1 cm. Gen refill fitted.

Wow the AR looks really crappy.... it's almost a mirror LOL.

New versions of Chronomat EVO and Steelfish SOSF?
Rolexman replied to chrgod's topic in The Breitling Area
Angus wrote in his dealer section that the maker is modifiing the case of the SOSF to fit the ETA 2836 instead of the 2824 it now houses.... strange as both movements are the same in dimension LOL. -
Do put on a brown gator.. it will look sweet on this watch. Th AR is exactly like the gen. My neighbour owns a gen white BCE and his AR is also somewhat pink/plum. The less noticeable AR is normal on a white dial. Install al lello date wheel and you'll have a 99,99% perfect rep. Wear it well friend!

BCE on a gen calf.

That was my intention..... glad you noticed it Thanks for your kind words. I'll bet your MBs will be as nice, or even nicer than mine. Narikaa rocks

Hi guys, It's been a long time since my last review so here's a short one of the Starwalker pen I received from Narikaa today. Usually I do a review of a watch or other item when it is new and there is relatively little or no information about it here on the forum. But in this case I just love the item so much it deserves some extra attention!! After solliciting for a very important job vacancy, I last week received the news that I got the job. It's my very first job because I just graduated from college. The job requires me to look 'sophisticated'. A watch isn't an issue off course LOL. I bought some nice Boss suits and then reallized a nice pen would make a picture perfect ... So I looked at Narikaa's stock last thursday, picked one and three working days later it was on my doorstep. This guy is fast! Not only in shipping but also in answering PM's and because he's from the EU there are no customs issues. Let me start of with the packaging. The pen was shipped in a padded envelop and inside a hard PVC pipe to protect it.... so it arrived in perfect condition. After removing all the tape and bubble wrap there she was.... a beauty. The first thing I noticed was the weight. Nice and heavy (turned out to be 35 grams). Pretty heavy for a pen. It added a quality feel to it....like when you handle it you know it's expensive! Also important; the writing. It writes really good (above my expectations).. nice and smooth without scratching and with an even ink flow. You can make a genuine refill fit (CLICK). I will let the pictures speak for themselves. Genuine The only thing different I could spot was the black grip where you hold the pen. The grip my Starwalker resin has is the grip of the rubber Starwalker. So there is a gen all steel grip, only not on this particular model... Fountain pen Replica Nice deep black. No scratches or other imperfections. Perfectly shaped logo on the cap. Nice and clear cap! It even has a nicely etched serial#. The refill has Mont Blanc markings all over it (don't know if they are correct). The refill is screwed in. I hope you liked the review. For everyone searching a nice quality pen I can highly recommend checking out Narikaa's pens. Greetzzzzz, Mark

Andreww, you really need to clean those bezel engravings.... besides that it looks awsome!
-
Just measure the strap. Lug width SOSF is 22mm
-
I don't think that's true.... for the genuine it is, but the rep is a click-on assembly. The screws are just for show. I'm not a 100% sure though!
