  1. Tried one on yesterday at an AD, had a nice weight on it & nice dial ( was blue on stainless ) I need a big watch due to size, my IWC BP sits ok so looking at something similiar size wise. So Rep Bentleys pls - What ya got, who from and your thoughts on it. thx
  2. Indeed, the Cartel are now have to use regular instead of premium in their ferraris & Bentleys As above - pre-owned is way to go, i.e 60's GMT's going for just over 3K - mindless.
  3. looks like the RWG1 watch !! - ( ooooops don't mention that ) However, I like it nice n simple. - And from the UK - yay What Dial / case size is that ?
  4. The other case I have ( came with 1680 ) has lugholes, a bit of chopping around would see this back in holed case pics are not very good but dial print close ups. - ~Actually when looking at this with the eye, they do look more solid - the red is very red and dial clean - the lume on the markers is absolute rubbish, looks like someones just dabbed it on, still $50 reppy, what do we expect, could always patina it.
  5. Think your right actually, lol I was sniffing around the white face dial one - mind buzzing away, not a bad size either @ 43mm will sit nice under a cuffed shirt. Josh may well get a mail from me.
  6. Take one Andrew 2005 1st Edition Noobmariner cases, 1 recent cheap $50 16810 red Sub to break up. Pop in the case and daa laah - for less than $100 all in. CG's ain't bad, mag font aint bad, dial sits well - hey pop the pearl - put through the coin box, coffee on the dial and thats pretty much a very quick half decent looking 1680 franken - all that would be needed is dome. yay. Peace
  7. lol - other than that, well it looks... I'll reserve till I see in flesh. I'd prefer a solid case on this, these mvts really do look bad on open back, still that price for a double AR'd dress watch ain't bad
  8. They look very good, are these strictly ( can't think of right word ) biro tips or you doing fountain as well. ??
  9. Depends where you are located, plenty of strap makers on the net + plenty of pam straps come up on the boards here. A strap can make or break a watch - like putting 15" running steels on a M3 Beemer. Peace
  10. I think you'll find this was QC'd Ken, not dropshipped.
  11. Not sure chief, reckon you might wanna get a nice pearled 16610 bezel. check it out at http://www.bezelsforstarwarswatches.com - think I seen em there. Might want to think about a clasp re-inforcement as well. - Check the Gen to see if the engraving is deeper, I'm sure it is. Good luck with the hunt - remember, choose your dealer...... May the force be with you....
  12. What I can't pick up on the pics is the way the glass shapes and glints as you move the watch - very similar in weight dimensions to the GMTm the style of the face looks more than it's cost and it has good lume. Overall I'm quite impressed by it - don't over use the chrono but then again would not really use GMT function on the Rollie, just adds to quite a nice dial. well my eyes anyway
  13. well a few times it has, walked past the AD's and stopped. Just had to go and buy it there and then. .. Thoughts ? - sorry for crap pics
  14. Hi Alex & welcome to the board, please use the search fucntion located in the top right of page, you'll be able to find the answers to most of your initial questions on such subject. http://www.rwg.cc/members/Review-29j-Dayto...mp;hl=francisco Peace
  15. Awesome combination, damn that looks good.
  16. a few pics of each, the 7day Portu on a Toshi Almond and the BP on a Tourby Flieger. Love the Porto 7 day and actually compared to the BP, not much size wise - it does wear well, AR & DW mod desperatley needed.
  17. lol, on the knees, frown on, toothbrush and washing gloves, a tube of 'Shine 'O' ' cursing the man above for inventing rain
  18. Thx Reg Your top two torby pics just made me spill coffee over the keyboard ...., so when ya stocking em ?
  19. Wow, I am shocked - in less than 4 replies, without sarcasm, a noob has been given a top dealer and details of one of the better reps. yay. ( can we make this a sticky, save loads of future hassle, oh and add a link to a SMP and we pretty much got 90% of new inquiries dealt with ) Peace
  20. Well now that you mention it Stephane, yeah there are a couple more to add here. ' I know nuuthingg...'
