  1. So apart from that there's just the small matter of removing the movement!! I really don't know if I trust myself to not f*%k it up...
  2. Hey, did you get this fixed? I have exactly the same problem and am considering sending it off to be fixed as I'm not particularly skilled and I love this watch too much! Whilst I'm at it I'm thinking of getting it super lumed and serviced all for good measure! Never having done this before who is the best person for EU (preferably UK) repairs? Palp? Thanks
  3. I'd like to add my best wishes to all on the board - have a great time. Eat too much, drink too much and have a fight with the in-laws!!!! Happy holidays!!!
  4. Congrats to the winners, and thanks to admin and sponsors for making it possible for me to lose yet another lottery!!!
  5. I know that Andrew carries one - in fact I have one! I haven't really had a good look at it to be honest - I will one day when I get bored of the bracelet. It was also much cheaper than the gen, but obviously will not be quite as good quality...
  6. Does anyone know if the case, dial, glass etc are the same as Andrew sells HERE? Thanks
  7. Ah well, no prize for me (again).... However, many congrats to the winners, and well done to the sponsors too! To be honest, for me it's just a bit of fun and a way to show my support for the forum in a small financial way. Maybe one day I will get lucky....
  8. Stunning! Love it, and probably the next on my list...
  9. Right come on everyone - I already have 2 tickets which haven't got a chance in hell so the odds have dropped from 70-1 to 68-1!!! And for all you UK and EUR guys, have you seen the exchange rate recently??!!!! This is cheap as chips and for a very worthy cause!!!!
  10. wow! that's pretty funky Admin!! I like it, it's getting me into the xmas spirit for sure, and I guess it is already the 1st of December!! I shall also be entering the lottery as per usual, and as per usual, I shall probably not win anything at all!!! Well done, and once again a great big thank you for everything you do for us!
  11. Both Ingy and PO are superb. With regards to the constellation I purchased one for my wife and the clasp on the bracelet was flimsy and inaccurate at best. I then got THIS one and it is superb. She loves it, it's really solid, well put together and very very classy. The font is thinner than on the gen but that's about it.
  12. Ha! This is far and away the most difficult part of buying reps - the dreaded wait!! Don't worry, you're in good hands with Andrew. Also, don't pay too much attention to the tracking, just every couple of days or so, it really is just indicative. Anyway, enjoy your new home!
  13. Welcome Anchorman, stick around and enjoy the place!!
  14. I'd like to add my concolences too. Watches (along with pretty much everything else) seem a tad irrelevant at times like these. Take your time.
  15. it does indeed, no santa's please... or should that be satan's???
  16. Hi Tostef, and welcome to this great place! And yes, Andrew is very very good!
  17. Very well said. RWG is dead... Long live RWG!!!
  18. Agreed! Personally I think it's a bit of a cheek, but they wouldn't be doing it if there weren't people queueing up for them...
  19. I quite like that watch, it's nice and I came quite close once to getting it. I actually went to my local IWC AD to see if they had any further information about it but alas they had never heard of it!
  20. I know exactly the place you're talking about in the Arcade and they have what can only be described as an exquisite frontage. I sometimes go and drool there myself!
  21. A very happy birthday to you too Pug!!
  22. Many many many happy returns Admin!! Hope you have a fabulous day (and week, month, year, decade, century and lifetime for that matter!!!)
  23. Don't worry Ken, Real will be there or thereabouts... They're 'on the up' so to speak! And yes Doc, a rematch would be good and about time, although Lyon are the more likely group winners at this stage...
  24. You're forgetting PSV... They also had the mighty Bordeaux and Galatasaray.... Tonight will probably see Man Utd through, and Real could also go through tonight with 2 games to spare...
