  1. You can have the one out of my 3717 cheap once I do the swap to Swiss.
  2. If you can ever find one of the old VC Malte Grande in rose gold, it would be a score. Although I haven't seen them around for at least two years now. Gorgeous watch though, with a manual wind movement and sapphire case back. Looks great on a brandy or peanut gator strap.
  3. The Hadley Roma Genesis II is a phenominal gator strap that looks great on the 3717:
  4. Everythingape == STUD I'd rather have an appendectomy with a rusty razor blade than be out on that boat.

  6. Interesting. I have a discontinuted old case Ti Avenger (not chronograph, but presumably the same size crystal?) and there is no warped effect. I know what you're talking about, though. I've seen that effect on poorly manufactured rep crystals - some Omega SMPs are an example that come to mind. BTW, let me know the diameter and thickness you need.
  7. That's an impressive set of stones you've got there, Everythingape. Good luck with the catch!
  8. lol
  9. "I'm having breast reduction surgery tomorrow!"
  10. "Guess what sweetie... I'm pregnant!"
  11. And thank you for the kind words... They are very much appreciated. (And I meant to click the "thanks" button instead of the "agree" button )
  12. Actually just heard from the lens maker today, and the estimated delivery date stands at March 8. My Feb AR run due date is March 10, so things are falling right in to place. Both the cyclopes and the Feb AR crystals will be sent out for coating at that time.
  13. deleted double post
  14. I think there is either a coating on the crystal which is scratching or it's not a sapphire crystal. There is just no way a hand rubbed polish is going to scratch sapphire. You should see what I do to these crystals to strip some of the stubborn AR coatings off. If you'd like to send this crystal to me, I can take a look.
  15. Still on schedule to have parts in my hands by early March that would then go out for AR at that time.
  16. "She's a MAN, baby!" Errr, wait a second... Wins what?
  17. That looks like an HKTAN strap... You can order it from him.
  18. Freddie, unless you've been using an anon proxy since you registered at RWG, then we'll find you by IP if we really want to. "USA" or "EU" in your profile isn't necessary (nor terribly helpful) to track you down.
  19. All joking aside, 14 year old children might well be physically mature enough for these sorts of encounters but they're definitely not emotionally or psychologically mature enough. And the pervert teachers ought to have the book thrown at them. 6 years is a good start. It seems like the better looking the perp, the less time she does. That blonde one from a couple years ago got probation until the charges were dropped...
  20. Is it just me, or does the triangle on Pug's dial look smaller / more accurate than the one on takashi's?
  21. That's not slashed. I had been buying first run BluRay for $14.99 to $19.99. And, I'm expecting BluRay titles to go up in price now.
  22. Sharp strap for the pumpkin UPO. But I bet someone like tootall could produce a black calf with orange stitch strap for less than 80 Euro...
  23. I have a fairly small rep collection that I like to be of high quality. For the price I got the ETA 7750, it didn't seem worthwhile to spend almost as much to service the A7750. I also believe (perhaps erroneously) that it'll be easier to service and/or find parts for the ETA movement in the future, and since I generally don't sell my reps I thought that was important.
  24. I've got a 3717 with high beat A7750 that'll soon be swapped out with a Swiss 7750. To me, full servicing of a chronograph movement (and mine needs it) isn't *that* much cheaper than the cost of a ready to go Swiss 7750. So it'll be going to The Zigmeister soon for the swap.
  25. How would a Canadian or Mexican ship via USPS? They'd ship via Canada Post and/or whatever Mexico has, which would be subject to their own rules and regulations.
