I think there's a good chance we'll have enough demand for a 3rd run. Beyond that, it's just a question of demand. I'd like to do a single-sided-only run for one of my crystals also, but I'm not sure sufficient demand exists for that.

Rob, absolutely! I'm glad you like the results!!

What's your timeframe, then ? Does "the first week of April" suit you? That's fine with me. If paypal payments are made in advance, everything should line up.

With Pug's situation in mind, let's aim for getting all crystals in the mail to the US by April 1. Flav will turn the crystals around in one day. For paypal payments I need an extra week to receive the check from paypal anyhow.

For PAMs, I thought most were single sided only, but I think some newer models might be coming out double sided now. It'll depend which PAM you're coating I guess. Breitlings are mostly (if not all) double sided. I know the TAG Tiger Woods is double AR. I would assume other TAGs are too, but don't know for sure.

Can uziuzi ship to you now so that you can have everything in the mail to the US on the 1st? 3 spots still open!!

I wouldn't know where to get the blanks. I have some Jimmyz Fu blanks, but well, those are mine.

I like that dial. It's a nice change from the usual black, and the leather strap works really well with it.

It's noticeable when you compare it to a domed crystal without any coating that picks up reflections from all over the room.

Success!!! I've successfully stripped the replica AR coat off my Breitling Seawolf Avenger Ti crystal. Details in the original post under "AR Stripping". Before breaking out the steel wool, I tried with a cotton cloth and that was going nowhere. Steel wool is a must.

It is odd, indeed. A few months ago he told me he was going to send out some replacement hands. I followed up 6 weeks later and he never responded. No hands, either. Hopefully he's OK.

Angle the watch so that an overhead light is reflecting directly off the crystal. Now, when you look at the reflection of the light in the crystal, it should have a slightly bluish tint to it (could be greenish or yellowish, but not likely). If you can't detect any color in the reflection, then there's probably no AR.
