See, now I am even more confused. They make a "homage"of the rolex sub, that every review I have seen says is well built, well finished, they come with either a Japanese movement or a swissETA, for either 100 (jap) or 300 for the swiss. This seems like the bargain of the world. Yes it does not say Rolex, but when you buy a Rep Rolex people are always warning you that no rep is perfect. Make sure you take it apart and reseal it. Be careful with it...... Then to order it we have to deal with TDs who's sites are here today and gone somewhere else tomorrow. On any given site there are three or four watches that look identical to most of us but vary in price from 128 to over 500. So why is Invicta bad? I have read multiple posts on three different websites and all I can come up with is that they post high msrp prices then sell for way less, and that they have a large line of products, some if not alot of those are very large or ugly.......PAM604.....very large..... And there are many REPs that I personally think are ugly, even some Rolexes..... So again why all the Hate for invicta? Not wanting to irritate anyone, just wanting to understand. Please keep in mind I do own over 30 reps, and multiple Gen watches and now 2 invicta watches, so I am clearly not against buying Reps, I love the ones I own, but I own two 45mm Omega PO, a black one and an Orange one. The black one is fantastic feels Gen, and honestly I doubt 99% of people would know it is not gen without popin the back. The other is an orange one, bought it used m2m and while it looks nice it does not feel near as nice as the other, feels cheaper. The bezel has a certain play side to side if you push, the weight is not quite what the other is. Honestly my invicta which cost 1/3 the price of this watch feels way way more like a quality watch.....

I guess to each their own!! I honestly love this one!! I had bought a DSSD because it was larger than my sea Dweller but it was soo thick and heavy i still am not fond of it, but this invicta is nice......Maybe it is just me!

I didn't, I paid under $100 for this one and it was brand new in the box still with tags..... Seriously how can you go too far wrong!!

initially I had staied far away from invicta because I kept seeing cheap quartz ones at jc pennys. However i found a automatic model I liked online and ended up ordering it. It is their grand diver. It looks like a Rolex sub but with a bezel from an omega seamaster 300, and most importantly the case is a massive 47mm but not absurdly thick. I ordered one and it arrived today, and honestly I love it. i have always loved the roex sub, but felt that the case was a bit small on my wrist, and I have always liked the bezel on the seamaster 300 more than the one on the rollie. So for me this watch checks all the boxes and for half the price of a decent rep.... So am I missing any negatives? I really want to know as I have found another model I also must have....

Mailman just arrived with my first Invicta. I was leary about invicta but this one was interesting, kind of a cross between sub and a omega 300 in a 47mm case!! I really like it!!!

Lost two bezels? They for sure lost them because there would be no way to say they were "copyright infringement" as they would have no idea what watch they were for.

Now I am confused, for basically the same price Josh has the rep with the correct dial, correct plexi glass, correct crown, and decent movement 2836. So why buy this HR for the same price?

Greed, and deffinitly responding to market pull. If they can sell enough watches to be happy at 10000 vs 6000 then why not? That seems like their current policy.... the other way of looking it is they feel their product should be more exclusive and be worth more, so they figure they can produce less quantity and still make the same amount of money. the end result is their product becomes more exclusive. As long as their name supports the higher value and they do hit their target sales they will probably keep doing the same until they reach the point where they are worried that at that price break they will not have final sales. Not saying this is correct, but.... Think porshe, the cheyene is basically a upgraded taureg in different clothing, but almost double the $. Is there that much more value? Not really, you are paying for the name. Same with the Rolex. Honestly, forget the name, if you take a $500 rep sub with a swiss eta and put it side by side with a rolex sub. Forget the name!!! Is the rolex really 10 times better? Be honest....No, you are buying a name and the prestige that come with it!!! This was not true in 1970 when the rolex was the ultimate diver. Just not anymore....

I bought this cheap Hong kong watch for my son, but it runs like 20 minutes slow in a day. Imagine a 20 dollar watch that does not work well....... Anyway before it meets the trash, is there a way to try and correct the issue?

So on a bored night I decided to order up a number of the sub $20 hong kong watches on e-bay. I probably ordered 7 or so. most I planned to give to the kids or wife, as they mainly care about the looks. One or two I ordered for myself to really see if I wanted something like this in my collection, and the last was a sub that I figured would serve for dissection for fun. Out of all of them only one came DOA, and they are sending me a replacement as soon as I pay $5 for shipping which seems fair to me as I do not have to ship back the dead one. A couple are actually really nice, decent finish, some decent heft to them, and estetically pleasing. One had a neat sports band which I really liked, but I did not like that the watch had the fake chrono where the chrono buttons just set the day and month. I was going to keep two for myself but one went to my son who recieved the doa watch and the other I pus a nicer band on it and will probably still give to my son or wife, but before Here is a picture of it. What do you all think. It runs good and feels alot like the rep omega my wife owns which is similar to this. Opinions?

Okay, I have a gen rolex crown for a 6538, and I have a rep 6538 with a 2813 movement. I know how to remove the crown and stem. How do I remove the stem from the crown, and will the stem fit the Gen Crown, or do I need a gen tube?

either way, give us a few of the things that are wrong on the two tone. I am guessing the hands are wrong?
