I like it a lot...and I doubt just like you that we will ever see a rep of that one - however, you can find a hommage made by Ocean7 :

I know you are going to get it - looking forward to some nice pics!!!
back in '96 - 99.9% of the members of the forum didn't know what was a Panerai...even less what movements were used in Vintage Panerai...however, If he offered them to me - I would have given him more $$$ than Panerai did!
I came across Panerai in that period '96-'97...but I was a student back then and I could have only dreamed to own of those!
Vintage lovers...you can find on the following link an explanation by Mr.Ferretti regarding the N.O.S movements - Angelus SF240 - which were bought by Panerai for the PAM203 and PAM267 (in the future maybe some other as well...)...
Mr. Ferretti sold them to Panerai in the 1996 - 190 pieces // each priced 110.000 lire italiane // total 20.900.000 lit!!!

enjoy the read!!!
Ross, you got a fantastic duo there!
FGD dials are amazing, just like your vintage dials...the other parts that you've added are the best that can be found - making this two pre-v+s one of the best on the boards...I am sure the 3rd one will be great as well!
who said they were not available there at the markets?!
they are, but in VERY limited quantities compared to the total amount of reps that can be found there...
the PAV99 is definitely the best strap combo that one can imagine...but these are getting sold for 2k or something like that!
fish, it would be nice to see some more pics of that one!
you're not reading enough!
no way you manage to get all the info in just a couple of days that you are a member of the forum...it will take you at least a month to get all the basics of this hobby...
grab yourself a beer or two and search more...the board is full of information, don't expect to have all the questions answered in a day or two!
I've been there...
I doubt that you'll find anything suitable for you when it comes to watch tools and spare parts...
on the other hand, you'll see hundreds of thousands of reps - 99% of those are really cheap reps...
Good luck on your trip - I hope to go there again (been there a year ago).
Hi guys...
There is an interesting watch on e-bay, item nr. 370206879494
It's a diver watch that is resistant to 12000m / 39600ft - this is what it makes so interesting to me...it could be a cool watch for the summer time and I believe it won't end at a high price...BTW it's a Quartz and filled with some sort of liquid - never heard of that but it is probably related to it's capability for going underwater at 12000m!!!
I won't be bidding on it cause I have my eyes on something else this time..
here is a pic of it :
there is no rep of the 25...
The 24 is available in at least two versions...one with the asian 21j mvt and the other with the A7750...I am not sure if there have been more editions of the 24 w A7750...
take a look through the Panerai area...I know some members having modded examples with gen dial and crown, improved DW's, cyclops...
I agree as well...
Thanks ubi for the pictorial...the pre-V project should be my next one after I complete the vintage collection (2x Angelus; 1x Cortebert)...
once again compliments to FGD for all the efforts and for making this project available!
Here is what is left from my Panerai collection...I had many more of them through the 5 years of collecting but with the start of this year I decided to narrow down my collection only to high quality pieces...some of them are additionally modified with lume, better crowns, DW's, straps, real PVD coating,... 027 // ETA2892-A2 Soprod 9040 028 // ETA2892-A2 Soprod 9040 029 // ETA2893-2 082 // ETA6497 6152 // Angelus SF240
Thanks for looking!
