  1. @mickey and ken...I was too concentrate onto the no communication issue rather than on the PP dispute...I agree as well that what you are saying about that is 100% true&correct...
  2. World GTG and only 5 pics...I had a feeling that this GTG would be something special with a lot of members attending it...in the end it looks like there were only a couple of members...or only 1...
  3. - rep straps SUCK big time!!! you absolutely HAVE TO buy an aftermarket strap.... - the mvt asian 21j is absolutely incorrect for the PAM005, because the GEN pieces uses the manual wind mvt while the asian 21j is automatic...better go for option 1. Asian ETA powered PAM111 - rep lume generally isn't great...it doesn't last too long but there is a cure for that - or send it to one of the resident modders or buy a PAM already modded from the 2nd hand market... pics and reviews of the watches you like PAM111 and PAM005 are all over the forum...use the search button and you'll find all of your answers...as well browsing the Panerai sub-forum you can learn a lot!
  4. after the Jakub fiasco and him disappearing with the reps, crystals, money and who knows what I don't see anything bad in starting threads like this....communication is everything and would help a lot especially the communication between the modder and the client that has his watch in the works...NOBODY can assure me that the modders or dealers cannot take 10 min a day and answer to the questions asked by their clients with whom they have a DEAL GOING ON....I have a feeling they rather answer to new inquiery's and new potential orders... I bet the answers from members would have been the same if this post was made 6 months ago by another member asking for his rep that apparently was on Jakub desk while it was already sold somewhere in Poland.... the problem is that a lot of people frequenting this board have absolitely NO business education!!!
  5. here are a couple of nice pics of the GEN piece for comparison :
  6. as soon as I find out which one is the closest to the GEN I will be ordering one...
  7. VDB strikes again! Amazing work, attention to details...I really like those thick casebacks!
  8. plenty of info here about the topic you are interested in... a couple of pics to increase your level of interest ( http://www.rwg.cc/members/Vintage-Panerai-...-An-t84478.html ):
  9. Bok Ante! Uzivaj u novom svijetu replika...ako imas pitanja slobodno mi posalji PM!
  10. the market is flooded with gen watches going for sale...some prices are attractive (and I mean really attractive) while the real gems remain always at the high prices... I've seen yesterday on e-bay two PAM203 listed FS...asking price was in the 130k range...

  12. Welcome to the club! the only problem now is that you'll want now to add an Angelus to make company to the Cortebert you got...the cure against the Vintage PAM bug is a little bit more expensive than the regular PAM bug... I would like to add as well word of praise for RMc and C_E who are really gentleman's when it comes to sharing info regarding the mods that need to be done to have in the end to have a masterpiece like you got...this two guys never cease to amaze me! and thanks to you, I have a nice vintage PAM strap with sew in GPF MOD DEP buckle made by V!!! wear it well!
  13. cool looking watch you have there...I came across that PVD mvt as well on German e-bay...I have posted that info on the forum as well...so how is the PVD finishing on the mvt? is it real PVD? or something else... Thanks in advance for the answers...
  14. once again I am really amazed by your skills G! Job very well done...congratulations!
  15. the best from the best - Vintage Panerai w Angelus mvt done by VDBroucke :
  16. Erfurt is the center of the world when it comes to vintage Panerai's..S work is really outstanding...he brought his creations to another level compared to the other stuff we see offered on all rep forums...his attention to details and immense love for the Vintage era of Panerai are not comparable to anybody... once again I am still sad I couldn't attend this GTG but I will do my best to be present on the 3rd one (which I am sure it will be hosted again in Erfurt by the great hosts S&H!)
  17. cheap asian movements...those should be super cheap reps (50-75$ range) but for me not worth even that...
  18. I can see the watch just looking out of my window (since I am located on the croatian coast! ) nice choice for the first rep! now you'll know that for every new purchase of a PAM you'll need at least one new strap...
  19. tnx for the additional info...a nice selection of parts from different sources that all together makes a really nice watch...
  20. Looks great! Tell us more about the case, is it a custom made one or a stock one from our dealers? what mvt does it have? more pics please!
  21. I love the looks of this vintage...It is an expensive rep but well worth the cash IMO... I like a lot the greyish blue color of the dial and the date magnifier at 6... enjoy your new beauty!
