I use olive oil, you know I come from Greece and we have enough olive oil I do the whole in two views: First the well cleaned case heat up and cool in oil, since the whole surface gets a light brown color. Then I dry the metal (with the threads and corners always remains something oil) and repeat the whole again. In the positions of the rest oil remained, there come the brown spots.

Thank you! No chemicals, I heat the case to above 250 ° C. and cooling in oil.

Hands: Yuki, relumed and reworked. Movement: Cal 1520 with 17 jewels non-Hacking, from the same period (revised und regulated). Crown: GEN 24-700, in good condition. Tube: WSO reworked.
