  1. Excellent!! Thanks for sharing. I myself, like many others on here, are rep addicts. ...although I am still in denial..... *heads over to dealers section*
  2. Do you mean it would be VERY nice or do you mean it to be very NICE?
  3. Looks awesome!!! I'm sure your wife will be thrilled.
  4. Dude. You want support, protection, customer service, go to your AD. This has been mention countless of times. You are dealing with ILLEGAL items, what more do you want for customer service? Sometimes pple on here just that things for granted. This is not a bloody local AD store where you can walk into with your big balls hanging btwn your legs. Dealers here don't open doors for you, neither will they flatter you with stupid ass compliments, sit you down, pour you a warm cup of tea and have empty conversations with you, in hopes that you will buy something from them. What you did was cowardly, for a measly 5 euros, you filed for a paypal claim.

    Wow :d

    Damn that crown!
  6. I love the site... something different. Doesn't hurt to have one more forum. Just registered.
  7. Jeez... this one looks too small on my wrist. It is 44mm but looks way smaller. I might just let this one go.... I paid about USD$850 I think.
  8. Eck! Sorry, missed these new posts. Yup mine is 2205/2006 production and imo that production run is more superior. The AR coating is way better. My bro has the earlier run and for some reason, it does not look as impressive. Must be the AR I reckon.
  9. Thanks Jon for your offer! Mine is on the way..... from my fav dealer - JOSHUA!
  10. Just get whichever one you like. You'll never go wrong with 44mm. Nowadays, I'll be more concerned if the watch is too small for me rather than too large.
  11. Kos, that weathered strap is effing sweet! Got any spare? btw, meant to ask you, do you see the difference in quality of PVD finish in Davidsen's and Finepic's? It seems that finepic's quality looks superior and smoother in appearance.
  12. If it is the price you have there, I wouldn't mind getting it. SGD$13,000 is a little expensive, that would roughly be about USD$8,000+. Definitely on the high side. I could have been mistaken for the price as I was pressing my face against the window to catch a glimpse of the price tag
  13. Very nice watch. It caught my eye eversince I first saw it in a watch magazine. I think I actually saw it in Singapore in one of the watch stores about a week or so ago. The store is one of asian distributors of this watch. On the display window, it has a yellow style strap and a yellow dial face if I recall correctly. My mind is fuzzy now with the watches I have seen for the past few weeks. And it costs around SGD$13,000+ I think. Did not try it, would love to though. For some reason, seeing it in person did not actually trigger me to walk in the AD for a closer look. Good to see the concept watch finally become a reality in ADs.
  14. LOL!! Yeah I would love to see the rep as well. Anyone who bought this care to share your thoughts on this? Pics?
  15. This is a very nice watch. Got to see in person a few times. I love the clean look, too bad it doesn't have the date function. One big reason why I would not buy this watch at all - the weight. Holding it on my hands, the watch felt very cheap. The titanium took most of the weight away and that threw me right off. Too damn light for a heavy sturdy looking watch. I mean why design a manly looking watch with a weight of a girly bracelet? Plus for a $10K watch, at least it must feel like it is worth its money. Excellent design but poor quality feel to it. If they make a SS, I would seriously consider getting this.
  16. Jon, that is a nice super avenger you had!! It is a shame you sold it as it looks remarkable from the pics. I bet it looks even better in person.
  17. Held a PAM 49 in my hands, the main differences as mentioned before, are: - Date Mag - Larger magnification, Bolder font - Weight. Heavier on Gen. - Brushed casing finish on the gen of better quality. Those are the obvious differences I can tell just by holding it in my hands... Date mag being most obvious. The date mag diif. is not as obvious when comparing 44mm reps with gen. The 44mm gen date mag. is significantly larger and bolder than 44mm reps... still a long way to go.
  18. I would definitely say the 187 (Watchhonpo's version, have not seen EL's version in person) is a darn good rep. As discussed before, the visible differences: 1) Illume. Illume markers on rep too thick; After getting a relume service by The Zigmeister, it looks damn close to the real deal. Markers that holds the illume still too thick but not as visible. 2) The bezel markers. The bezel markers sit slightly higher than the gen. The gen. looks flatter. 3) The '1000' looks blue-ish in colour in the gen than rep. 4) The chrono pushers screws too deep in on rep. In the gen, the threading of the pushers are not visible. The finish of the pushers are sharper on gen. 5) AR coating on rep slightly too thick. Gen AR coating can only be seen at certain angles. 6) Subdials are not as recessed as reps. Off the the top of my head, these of are some of the differences. It is a damn good rep. The weight is there. A few glances would be hard to differentiate whether it is a rep (for watchhonpo's version), more so if you have the relume done.
  19. I'm going for it. Thanks for those pics! yeeeeeeeahhhhhh
  20. HAHHAHAAH too funny!! ROFLMAO!!
  21. The white looks stunning! I would get it.
