I got 1675 problems, and the insert is all of them...
JSebWC replied to ceocorona's topic in The Rolex Area
The new one will be an improvement. If that is a gen insert it is from a 16750 I am still a bit rusty on IDing inserts I buy my rep inserts onl eBay and age them myself. I could help you out with that If you need one and have a specific fade in mind. A selection of a couple of my favourites Sky blue / cherry red. Denim / salmon and Sky blue and light rose Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I think I may have found the watch on IG that was the inspiration of your dial. [emoji7][emoji7] AFAIK this is gen with natural patina. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looks good on a strap. [emoji1303] I’ve started making single pass straps out of super soft upholstery grade leather. Feather optional but thought I would try it out. Also got some case-backs laser engraved for my explorers. Inspired by the 60’s 1016 brochure with the nautical star and Milky Way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

@Nanuq is correct I did apply a light coat of coffee on the hands with a fine brush...I also apply it to the metal portions as it does make it look aged. Sorry I thought you were asking if I had lumed the hands

Thank you brother [emoji1317]. Your dial is stunning and as luck would have it, the hands are from the original build and are a very close match to your dial lume. [emoji1316][emoji7] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks Brother somehow the seconds hand fell off last night so I opened it back up this morning to reinstall it. Hope this isnt gonna be a common issue...would like to wear it again trouble free. Anyway I was thinking on how I coud secure the movement and instead of fabricating longer tabs I founda thin plastic business card in my drawer and cut small pieces from it. I think was able to snuggly fit the pieces between the case and movement holder...then mounted the movement tabs over the plastic pieces and screwed down the tabs. problem solved. I see we were on the same wavelength here... Rotor is mounted and its back in full perpetual action!! I plan on taking some better pics...there are a few higher res ones a few posts up to enjoy for now. I plan on doing a SOTC post ....was meaning to do that in december but been busy . Its keeping time and lookin fine... This build kicked my ass but its finally DONE!! it isn't perfect but its mine!!

Wow. Well done. That hand work turnout great. This week I had to sand down the tip of the hour hand on my Milgauss 1019 You know your deep in it when your shaping hands. [emoji38][emoji38] It is very delicate work but the results are well with it. Good job ! I like the seconds hand. Very unique. I have one on my 6350 and it’s very distinctive. Love it. Awesome work bro. [emoji482] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
